AUSTRALIA DAY - JANUARY 26th Track day

Hope you all had a great Christmas, once again, another Tampered Motorsport Track day is coming up. Thursday January 26th is the date, and once again at Winton Motor Raceway. Celebrating Australia Day at the race track is generally very enjoyable, and the weather is usually fantatic.

 

So the details of the day are……

 

Entry Fee: $160 Including Electronic Timing

 

Spectators are more than welcome, and there is no cost to come and watch. Also you can go for a ride in the cars but you must sign on with a Passenger indemnity first. Due to the amount of passengers at previous events our insurer has put a small levy on passengers of $20. You can just pay this when you sign the forms at the Scrutineering office.

 

The day will kick off when scrutineering starts at 7:30am. You will need to do your paper work at the scrutineering office before you have your car checked. Please make sure you have removed all loose items from inside the car.

 

 

YOU WILL NEED:

Long sleeve and long pants of non flammable materials i.e. No Nylon

AASA license which can be bought on the day for $50 (these last for 12 months) or CAMS L2S

Closed footwear

Helmet that complies to Australian Standards (has ASA or Snell Sticker)

Car needs to be in a good condition, no oil leaks, no loose items in the car and battery secure.

Good condition tyres

Working seatbelt (give it a pull and make sure it locks)

What times have you done in the AU Mitch? Can only imagine how much grip they'd have.

We wernt planning on taking it but if people want to go for. Rides we can bring it

Ill be there! I wont be racing though, my car wont be ready.. but be on the lookout for a really tall white kid with a camera. Ill come and say hi to anyone in a rolla aswell :)

That will be great mate I tried to get some 2 wheel action but it started bending stuff so I stayed off the kerbs haha. And by the end of the day the Ole' 4k packed it in

Yeah i noticed that one time when you tried the kerbs a bit too much and went off through the s-bend :P haha

That last pic was dad driving the rx7 and lol well I went off because the throttle didn't blip long story but it locked the tyres and flicked me sideways lol
