It's been a week I'd never like to go through again... Gary suffered a suspected heart-attack while performing on stage as the front-man for his band "Pyramid of the Coyote" at the Civic hotel, aged 34. He leaves behind 2 daughters, 10 year old Trinity and 8 year old Madison. Another local band Stone Circle and DC Productions are putting together a benefit gig on April 1st at the Civic Hotel to honour Gary and raise funds for his girls. I've put forward the name "All Jokes Aside" for the gig but not sure if they are using it :) This will be from 4pm - 10pm and will have quite a few local bands playing (8+ bands). Entry will be $20 per person. Please get the word out, the more people the better!! It's been really hard to know what to do, not really wanting to eat... waking up tired even when I do sleep. I'm so glad these guys from the local music scene have organised this gig, gives us something positive to work on!
