Token Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 G'day Fellas, My front wheel bearings have very kindly started to informer that their a little tired, and it's probably time to replace them, unfortunantly, I don't have bearing caps anymore, and I can see myself replacing them only to have them chewed out by the vast amounts of sand around here in fairly short order. Does anyone know if I can still buy wheel bearing caps? I understand that you can get universal ones, but I have nothing to compare them with so haven't the faintest as to what I'd be looking for. Any help appreciated, Token Quote
19914afc Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 My mate just got one from toyota was $20 though. Quote
parrot Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Do you mean the dust cap that fits on the outside hub and keeps stuff out of the inner hub? I bought 4 recently from Toyota for the AE86. Can't recall the price, but it wasn't $20 each. They always give me trade without asking too hard. I think the KE1x caps will be a different size. Interested if anyone knows where to get those. Quote
altezzaclub Posted April 4, 2012 Report Posted April 4, 2012 Round bit of thin steel with one of those fancy magnets to hold it on! :laff: Any at the local wreckers? Quote
