Hey guys,

 

I have ke55 hubs with upgraded brake discs, the stud pattern at the moment is 4x114.3,

i want to convert it to 5x114.3 and put good brakes on them.

 

Anyone have any idea what to do or if theres a kit i can buy?

I have coilovers and ke55 hubs

Don't think there's much you can do on ke55 struts.. Unless you go hopper stoppers brake kit, which is like $1300??

 

Why do you want 5 stud anyway? It's pointless.. Shit wheels that don't fit corolla's properly and then you'll have to convert your diff..

I have a ke20, i just put a hilux diff in the back, thats why i want 5stud at the front, maybe i just have to get the hopper stopper kit.. Can you post a link to where i can get the exact kit from?

Just remember the actual stub axle, bearings and flange are very small on a corolla.

xt130 would be the smartest choice.

sell the hilux diff, put in an r31 diff instead? keep it four stud.

 

dodgy hub adapters on ebay or hoppers stoppers is a shop in Hoppers Crossing melbourne

Bolt on hub adapters are also about 20mm / 25mm thick so it spaces the wheels out and adds to track,

just something to consider but there are good ones with hubcentric spigots on them just not sure

if they are the same size spigot front and rear though. You can only add 25mm to wheel track in total,

ie 12.5mm per side for qld regulations but wheel offset also affects this.

Yeah the hopper stoppers kit may come with billet 5 stud hubs actually, probably also spaces it out though?

114.3x4 is all the good wheel choices for the older corollas, 5 stud has limited wheel options.

Maybe convert the rear to 114.3x4?

Getting 17" simmons so would rather 5stud

so my only choice is to go with xt130 struts and ms65 crown hubs or just get the hoppersstoppers kit?
