silverra23 Posted May 1, 2012 Report Posted May 1, 2012 as evan has stated multiple times now, there is no 5 stud hub that will bolt straight on to the corolla stub, as its a tiny little thing designed for holding tiny little corolla hubs the corona strut, with the ms65 hubs, is what you will need if you want to buy parts at a wrecker. people in the know realise that the the ms65 hubs are in demand and charge accordingly - like $350. then you add the price of corona struts, maybe another $100. then some decent inserts for them. maybe another $200. then some decent springs to suit your combination. another $200. then you might want some pads. another $100 if you put something decent in there. and there will be other miscellaneous shit I have forgotten, but we have already spent near on $1000 which is starting to make the hoppers stoppers kit at $1300, with all brand new readily available and easy to service parts, look pretty good. Not sure why people are saying it's expensive. A pair of USED skyline Brembos and rotors will set you back ~$2k. The hopper stoppers kit comes with NEW hubs, bearings, brackets, calipers, rotors, pads and brake lines. It's a freaking steal at $1300! Quote
