Willis Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 Hey guys, didn't quite know where to post this but anyway, just wondering if anyone knows the name of this http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii175/McLevin86/004-4.jpg colour that came on the A3A's. I really want to paint (or powdercoat if possible) my set this colour. Cheers Quote
Willis Posted June 8, 2012 Author Report Posted June 8, 2012 Very nice. Those glasses of yours work quite well :P More meaning the name of the colour :) Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 Yeah I know, colour matching as a cnut of a job, Cop Bait turned out so different to what I wanted. Looked kinda right in a sample. Quote
Willis Posted June 8, 2012 Author Report Posted June 8, 2012 Yeah man, some people are wizards with colour codes and shit...I've got no clue..ʞ©$ɟ Cop Bait was ghetto. Loved it Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 I would call that colour mustard. Its an impossible thing to match a colour from a computer screen unless you have your monitor adjusted to perfect true colour like a graphic designer would. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 Do they still make them, could you contact the manufacturer? Try the Facebook Australia page too maybe? https://www.facebook.com/YokohamaAdvanAU Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 (edited) Even if you go to the powder coats they all generally have massive colour charts. So if you couldn't find that exact one you could find a similar one you like. Also A3A's :y: Edited June 8, 2012 by It's_AUDM_Yo Quote
Willis Posted June 8, 2012 Author Report Posted June 8, 2012 Cheers guys. I appreciate the help. Matt, I realise you can never get it spot on. Did a little graphic design recently (ʞ©$ɟ all) and learned a bit about that stuff. Differences in printing colours etc. Reed, I tried the facebook page already, didn't turn up much. AUDM, I love the A3A's. They're sick! Quote
philbey Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Try the japanesenostalgiccar forums they have massive threads dedicated to jap wheels Quote
Jono.C Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 I'll ask my mate for you Willis. Pretty insane on wheels so he should know hopefully. Quote
Willis Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 Cheers philbey, I'll check in over there and see what I can find! And thank you as always Mr. Coleman. Appreciate it :D Quote
