droola Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 i have a ae93 seca and i want to put some springs in it to drop it down a fair bit, i am running the stock 14s and want to keep them just giv'em a coat of paint. so does anyone know what springs to run cause i can only find kings sprins superlows but i want it lower then that, any help would be appreciated. And photos of some extremely low ae93's Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) King Springs do an Ultra low to suit which will drop it an extra 20mm. http://www.kingsprings.com.au/catalogue/Kings%20Superlow%20Caralogue%20040203.pdf Edited July 16, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
droola Posted July 16, 2012 Author Report Posted July 16, 2012 do u know who sells them i have only looked on the net for springs Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 Any auto parts store should be able to order them (repco etc), just print off that list with the part numbers. Give King Springs themselves a call and ask if you can buy direct and cut out the middle man. Quote
droola Posted July 16, 2012 Author Report Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) yeah might give that ago thanks for that. :) i checked kingsprings 2012 catalogue and they don't do ultra lows for the ae93 only super Edited July 16, 2012 by sx_owner Quote

It's_AUDM_Yo Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 Just take the springs out all together.... You generally have to go coilovers if you want a car really low but thats obviously much more expensive. Quote
ae824ate Posted July 16, 2012 Report Posted July 16, 2012 Are you lowering it for looks? Do you want it to handle better? Any other suspension mods? Quote
droola Posted July 17, 2012 Author Report Posted July 17, 2012 more for looks atm. i have cut springs in previous rides and wont do it again. but its mostly cosmetic Quote
ke70dave Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 Go a moderately low spring, better shocks to suit, and look good while handling better;) Quote
scotty.bmx Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 this is what i have in my ae94 sedan: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-COROLLA-AE-92-93-94-F-R-SUPER-LOW-COIL-KING-SPRINGS-/150666628154?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item23146e4c3a#ht_942wt_1037 Quote
droola Posted July 18, 2012 Author Report Posted July 18, 2012 thats really cheap, i went into whole sale suspension and they wanted like 170 a pair, but i don't think 2 inch does me enough justice might have to look at some adjustable coilover set ups. Quote
derrickgeneric Posted July 19, 2012 Report Posted July 19, 2012 looks and comfort = lowering springs looks and performance - coilovers Quote
droola Posted July 19, 2012 Author Report Posted July 19, 2012 how much for a set of coilovers, more to the cheap side. Quote
scotty.bmx Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 i found a set on ebay for like $400. don't know how good they are but they are coil overs... and my car sits low with the king springs in, i can't imagine anyone wanting to go much lower Quote
