19914afc
Pretty sure only legal on utes and might be able to put one on 2 door sedan, has to be so many mm from last opening seal and has to exit on passenger side I think.
mungi mods
300 mm from most rearward opening.
irokin
From the NCOP The outlet of an exhaust system must be rearwards of any passenger side entry door or opening window. If any part of the exhaust system, including the outlet pipe, extends beyond the profile of the body (other than on the underside), it must be shielded. Exhaust outlets must also meet the requirements of ADR 42/… where applicable. Vehicles manufactured after June 1988 must not have the exhaust exiting to the left of the vehicle. ADR 42 doesn't seem to say anything about MA group vehicles. I am not a lawyer, this is general information only. Seek professional advice before carrying out any modifications. Etc etc etc.
B.L.Z.BUB
Wouldnt an exhaust shop know, probably best to talk to them, or an engineer/certifier. Then you'd get correct advice (hopefully). I have a funny feeling if it was legal then every fully sick road warrior would have one.
