As the title inplys i want to upgrade my ecu for a bit more oomphh. just wondering what are my options and i want pretty much the cheapest one. i would even take second hand cause my theory is its a computer so it doesnt really wear out.

I don't know, no longer work where we sold them, you will come under 2k to buy, have it installed and tuned.

if you have basic mods like air filter and exhaust just get an apexi safc or some other form of air fuel correction

thats reaaaaal nice but i can't afford 1100 for a ecu :( most at extremeeee most is 700

You should be able to find something like a Haltech E8 from ebay, although they are a bit old they are really good for the price.

If you don't have any supporting mods like higher duration cams, exhaust, coil packs etc then there is no point getting an after market ECU.

Also don't forget you will still need to tune the ECU aswell which could set you back about $1000 considering it would be a complete re tune.

Keep in mind you won't get a whole lot of gains from just an aftermarket computer..best to get some decent mods with it.

well i want to get the ecu so i can get higher duration cams and hopefully silver top itbs, got the exhaust and getting extractors soon as i have only just purchased my first rolla

But starting out with an aftermarket ecu will make parts fitting a whole lot better as you already have a base tune in it, food for thought.
