RollaGurl Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 well, i took my car for a wheel alignment as i had changed the hubs on the weekend and it was wayyyyyyyyyy out. got in my car after it was done to leave and thought "hmmmmmm, i sitting a bit sideways" i tried to pull the seat out with no luck. went home and told anyone who would listen how a fat man had broken my seat and it was now on an angle, and by angle i mean \ <------------ that kind of angle. well no one believed me until my brother came outside to the car with me with the intention of proving me wrong BUT he looked at it and shat himself! the big alignment man managed to break a weld!!!!!!!!! :y: so i am now cruising with a lean towards the window! Rolla__Boy Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 Take it back and DEMAND that they fix/replace it Quote
RollaGurl Posted January 31, 2006 Author Report Posted January 31, 2006 everyone has told me that, but I'm too embaressed to go back! and i would feel bad for him that he broke it!!! Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 aww you are too kind hehe Is it fixable? Quote
SoulSearcher Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 RollaGurl, Take it back, why should you be held responsible for someone else damaging your car. If they dented the front 1/4 panel, you'd complain wouldn't you??? Take it back, explain what you think happened and then ask them what they're going to do about it. Make them pay for the repair. love ke70 Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 it may not even be because he was large in stature, if hes anything like me and having a bad day he probably threw himself into the seat in a huff. still shouldnt break the weld, and neither should a fat man, so he may have saved your life in a crash, better to find out now that u have a dodgy weld rather than 40 metres down the road still strapped into your seat (i heard of that happenin in an excel :y: ) but yeah, like everyone has said, go back, ask to talk to the manage, be nice, be polite, and then when they start saying "listen lady, we didnt break your seat" thats when you start making a scene, managers will do alot to make sure their potential customers don't see a dis-satified customer. is dis-satified a word :P maybe its unsatisfied :P private education and i don't know, woo go me! lol Quote
coln72 Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 I know I guy who had to have the floor of his Kingswood reinforced as he used to rip the seats out of the floor, but he was f@$kING HUGE!!!!!!! Quote
Tiger Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Gives you a good reason to whack a set of Drift N1 bucket seats in the front :y: hahaha Quote
RollaGurl Posted February 1, 2006 Author Report Posted February 1, 2006 nah its not repairable.............. and twinky seats are proving to be hard to find as well! love ke70, i now i should go back but i am embaressed for me as much as him, i am not one who likes confrontation! oh and dis-satisfied is a word! private education worked for me! :y: Quote
love ke70 Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 wooo, go us private folk! lol I'm not really a fan of confrontation either, like ill step up to the mark when i have to, but there are better ways of going about it, and when it involves copious amounts of money, which a new seat might, id be very inclined to stand up for myself and remember the longer u leave it the more likely it is they wont believe u, just head in there and see what they can do for you, it can't hurt. :y: Quote
Tiger Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 I sat in this seat afterwards... ooooh yeah... she's broken alright! Poor seat! The driver has a permanent "gangsta lean" when cruising! :D Quote
Dan Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Hehe sounds like the seat in the falcon... i know how shit it feels! Yes, fat people do break seats; the people who had the falcon before us were f@$kING HUGE! Quote
