I'll partially support the carbs

 

We welded a vertical bolt onto the extractors and bolted a bar across it to take the weight of the DCOEs. Put a couple of rubber washers in the joint to allow the vibratons to get absorbed and with the bolt thread its adjustable..

I thought about something like that, luckily these aren't very heavy so it's not going to be hard to make 2 little support brackets to the rocker cover to keep them in place. I've found the neatest way to do it but I just haven't got any flat bar at the moment. I'll throw some photos up in my thread soon

Keihin bike carbs. Can't remember exactly what they're off, I have it written somewhere but they were pre jetted for a tough 4k when I bought them.

Anyway I'll go take pics now and put them in my thread instead of clogging up this one

When i come to doing engine work, my uncle will tell me what to do. He has built a few race engines in his time, even a few out of 4k's.

Sprayed the bumpers to make them look a bit nicer and cleaned up the rims.
