Silly me has only just got the car with one key and I've locked it inside after finishing work

on it.

Any ideas how to get into it without damaging anything. New paint and overrated chrome so don't

want to hurt anything.

Interior lock is in a bitch of a place so can't get to it with wire. Tried a few other keys but no

such luck.

Cheers

Pay a sketchy looking bloke hanging around to break in for you. :P

You can usually get in with packing tape, wire or worn keys/ keys from around the same era.. besides that I'm not sure short of scissors or a screwdriver

Get a plastic milk bottle and cut the top and bottom off it, flatten it and wedge it between the door and door jam so half is inside the car and half out.

You may need to pry the top of the door a bit so slip it in, use a wooden or plastic wedge.

Once its in you can push something inside the bottle to wedge the door open and also slip things through to try hook the lock button without damaging the paint.

Get an old coat hanger and bend one end in to a loop so it can slip over the lock button neck then pull up.

If you get what I mean.

If you need pictures let me know and Ill demonstrate on peanut.

Cheers for all the tips guys - Have tried a few of them however the 25 has a side mounted lock which

is positioned on the door handle. This makes it extremely hard to get anything onto as you cannot see

it. Also it takes a bit just to pull it out with your fingers, let alone using wire or something alike :(

The lock is per this pic.

So drop a wire down the door between the window and door (from the outside) and push down? (From memory) on the lock.. th external lock not the interior door one

Just go to any locksmith, I got my 43 year old original KE18 key copied for $9.

Unless you want it with a Toyota logo or something.
