Tally Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 best to go to a wrecker and get one off a 30,55,70.... Quote
mdw003 Posted March 7, 2013 Author Report Posted March 7, 2013 Hmm I didn't want to do that, but it looks like that's whats going to happen, The problem is the wrecker here will crush any thing older than a vn. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 As long as that includes VN's then thats not so bad. Quote
mdw003 Posted March 7, 2013 Author Report Posted March 7, 2013 haha, but where will all the wet weather heroes get there spare parts? Quote
Tally Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 or I'm sure there is a place in whyalla that can weld it up, if there is a place that reconditions cylinder heads they should be able to fix it Quote
mdw003 Posted March 7, 2013 Author Report Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) I would do that, but I think mines completely stuffed. Its cracked all the way through from top to bottom Edited March 7, 2013 by mdw003 Quote
mdw003 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 Well went to the wrecker today, asked if he had what I needed and to my surprise he did! he just said, come in and dig through this box.... said box turned out to be an old crate full of jap thermostats. after 10 mins I had 2 ke30 ones :D So now I play the waiting game while the gasket goo dries. Heres a few random picks of it, forgive the overcast day. Oil catch can I put in today as well Not a lot of room between the shed and house lol lucky its a rolla :D And a random dash shot, I'm trying to find a better spot for the gauges... but column mount will do for now. Cheers  Quote
