stu84ke70 Posted March 29, 2014 Author Report Posted March 29, 2014 Got some new wheel nuts the other day so i can fit my rims.I managed to remove and fit one of the tyres myself so i could see how they sit on the car, and I think they sit perfect, they just fit under the gaurds. Quote
altezzaclub Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 So I got bored and done the tappets today, and now it sounds worse That is sadly common! I think they wear a goove in the rocker or valve as they shrink the gap and then re-setting them causes them to 'jump' over the groove they have worn. Both mine are like that. Nice alloys, good to see its slowly coming on. Quote

stu84ke70 Posted March 30, 2014 Author Report Posted March 30, 2014 Got motivated today and lowered the rear to match the front, used some shocks I had out of my wagon (which are shorter) to keep the springs captive cut about 1.5 coils out of the rear and 2 out of the front.I also changed my wiper arms as the old ones where rusty and bent. Also I managed to get another tyre on myself with a bit of difficulty and now it looks heaps better.Got some new points too but got the wrong ones got denso instead of bosch so have to take them back and exchange for the right ones. With the new rims before lowering the rear. Standard ae/ke sedan shocks (longer one), standard ae/ke wagon shocks. After lowering the rear. Quote
