KE30 early dash. I know theres suppose to be atleast one switch here. There is no demister on the rear screen so I'm guessing its not that.

From memory the square hole had some sort of orange lamp? Please humiliate me by telling me whats missing. cheers

This is the best i can help you with i'm only familiar with late dashes, curious though.

 

Gotta be aircon. Left switch on/off, orange light to show its on?

Your on the money guys, its the position for the rear glass demister switch and light, not all ke30's came with them, both of my ke30 2 doors were not fitted with them. Instead there was a small factory filler panel to hide the hole which just clips in,

Thanks for the replies, shouldnt be too hard to find some sort of plastic blanks to put in there.

I'd still get the demister switch and its light. No one would think twice your using as the kill switch for the motor.
