Typical rust spots in the lower rear section of the 1/4 on KE25.

 

Is there an aftermarket option? or will toyota still be able to source these panels

You can get Taiwanese reproduction guards but they don't fit properly.

 

You will not be able to get new panels from Toyota.

 

Best bet is rust repair with a good section.

Rare spares make a small repair section for that area

Rare spares just laughed and said they hadn't sold one in twenty years, unless you know something I don't!

That was about two years ago but there is a chance I can get someone to make them, just that lower repair section.

I got some off the shelf about 2 years ago from Bayswater Vic. They still appear on their catalogue.
