hey guys,I'm after a 5 stud conversion for my ke 30 front brakes..etc.

prefer ford pattern,as I'm using hilux diff already...what rotors,hubs,etc bolt on???????? thanks

get yourself a set of series 4 or 5 rx7 4 spot calipers.

they are available on ausrotary.com for around $250-$350 for discs and caliper. or also check ebay.

they are also 5 x 114.3 so they will match the hilux rear.

 

I am just in the process of doing this conversion on my rx4, and it would be the same to put the on a rolla I reckon.

basically what you do is take the standard corolla hubs off and put them in a lathe, machine of the disc and maybe abit of the out hub to make the s4-5 discs fit over (floating hubs, ie disc gets held in place by the wheel bolted on). re-drill the corolla hub to 5 x 114.3. and the make up some steel adapter plates to mate the caliper on the standard corolla caliper spot.

 

just did a quick ebay search for you, this is only the caliper though, you could always buy new slotted/vented DBA's anyway. :)

id buy new rotors. RDA ones are pretty cheap when you consider you would probably have to get second hand ones skimmed anyway and then theres bugger all life left in them.

i just paid 48 per rotor for brand new ra60 ones :)

i was talkin to a bloke in the know, and apparently only the most common DBA rotors are aus made. the rest are cheap low quality imports.

they also charge excessively and are no better than RDA

not sure if this helps but from memory:

 

Holden vn style hubs and discs will bolt onto a ta22 stub axle (could have been ra23 style axle)

 

Ms65 crown hubs will fit onto a ma61 ra60 etc stub axle and have a 5 stud pattern which is the same as a hilux and ford.

 

however this is off the top of my head so research these options fully before buying parts. Both these type of swaps are documented somewhere on toymods I'm sure.
