Guest Brad Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 My bro Trent-KE30 on here lowered his KE30, send him a PM if you want. Cheers Quote
ScottKE1X Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Ill think you'll find just having 16's on a ke30 is illegal unless you get them engineered and certified... Quote
Taz_Rx Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 an easy way to lower a leaf sprung car at no cost:........ remove whole leaf pack from car. clamp centre of the leaf pack in a vise. while being held fermly by the vise undo the bolt through the centre of the leaf pack. slowly loosen vise. take the small leaf off the bottom of the leaf pack. turn it upside down and put it back on THE TOP of the leaf pack. return to the vise, clamp again, put bolt back in and remove from vise. you will the notice that the leaf pack is a lot flatter than when you started. as the UPSIDE DOWN smallest leaf will effectively give you a flat spot through the centre of the leaf pack. if you have another set of leaves say from a parts car, have a play around, try inverting different size leafs, or adding extras for extra stiffness aswell as lowering. :) as for the front, if you don't want to be dodgy and get out the ol' angle grinder, go see your local pedders or kings dealers. :monkey: Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 Pics of flipping leaves can be seen here And if you click my pic in my Sig you will see my KE35 lowered on 17's....so that should give you an indication of what you can do. Quote
billygoat Posted June 7, 2006 Author Report Posted June 7, 2006 (edited) not being rude or anything roll-110 but in queensland we have a plus 3 fitment and my ke30 has 13's on it so shouldnt have a problem with that. Sweet! personally it wouldnt make any difference to me, if i had 16's i would have had them on... Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 The give alot of play. The only legal way, and the best way to lower a leaf spring car, is to get the leaves reset, I think it costs under $200 Quote
billygoat Posted June 8, 2006 Author Report Posted June 8, 2006 why are lowering blocks bad rolla_boy Quote
