and dad has the same system and his is like...3 times faster than mine.. i looked at my processes, got about 20 background programs running...time for a reformat

anyone know if u can store ur email addresses without typing them all in word and dumping that into the remote hardd rive?

:dance: Okay, i kinda worked out some kinks. I know i need to format. I should have formated like atleast 6mths ago. I just keep putting it off.

 

In 04 i bought an antivirus. When i bought my current comp like a year ago, i coppied my old hard drive onto my now much larger one. Then i tried to reinstall the antivirus and it tells me its missing files?? ITS A f@$kING CD!!! Not just that it performs a scan beforehand like its ment to but it keeps asking if i want to exit every 10 seconds. That means for the last hour i've had to sit here while it scans 14000 files slowly as i keep hitting "no" every 10 secs.

 

I found 1 virus.

 

My actual problem was my pop ups. Since i have no protection my computer is prone to anything.

 

So i keep getting spyware installing itself onto my computer and anispyware (Which i need to pay to use)

 

So since they gave me the locations of where the f@$kS are located i went in manually to remove them. Some went willingly, others are still there.

 

They only attacked when i was on rollaclub?? And when they attacked they attacked with like 50 pop ups. This crashing my already frigile computer.

 

My computer is so f@$ked windows update hasn't worked since last year and when i hit Ctrl Alt Delete, nothing happens. :D

 

I need to format.

eh my computer runs itunes and countstike so I'm happy :dance: i suppose its also go it can run autodesk and shit for school... I'm waiting until next year when all the new shit comes out so i can buy all the out of date stuff :D not spending 2500 on a tower again lolz

:dance: Okay, 50 billionth time writing this. I even wrote it on my mobile at like 3 this morning and when i hit send, this same page with my typed message would spring back up?? 3 times i tried, in the end i gave up.

 

Okay. Do I like her?? I've known her for soo long & been friends with her for ages that i guess i sorta do.

 

Why aren't they talking?? Cause he's a f@$k head. To me after this experience, he sound like the type of guy that would attack any guy talking to "his girl".

Remember to properly scan your dvd's full of written data, because the viruses may have affected your data. I did that once, and reinstalled with all my mp3s again, and had the same problem (before buying my antivirus).

Serious, although antivirus is a prick and expensive, and most probably the cause of alot of viruses, you need to buy it; otherwise your computer will become shitloaded full of viruses. Thats coming from someone whose never bought a CD or program before in his life; all my shit is pirated.

Btw, my regular computer is a AMD Duron 800mhz/312mb ram. I run everything I need on it; its my parents computer though.

 

MY computer is a P4 3.4ghz/1gb ram/256 GeForce with all the trimmings; why the f@$k don't I use that as my regular computer? Because I'm too bloody lazy to run the internet cables through the roof.. I've had the computer for a year...

 

Thought I should add my computers to the list :dance: lol

i only have 512m and i run WoW, photshop, nikon view and heaps of other shit off mine and it runs fine.....but all our pcs (all4) get reformated and upgraded parts every 12 months
