Hey guys and girls just wondering how much play if any should be in both front wheel bearings. Both seem to have some play (only a little bit) but has a audiable click when moving wheel at 12 and 6. Just want an opinion on what you people think. I can't attach video but want to know what is good and bad.

You don't want any audible clicking.  But you want slight movement.  It's hard to describe but I think you will know when you have it right.

No movement, bad.  Clicking - bad. fractional side movement - good.

Do it up with a light spanner, only a couple of ft.lbs, then undo it one flat on the nut. There should just be the faintest movement at 12 and 6, although I often run mine with slightly more. The split-pin may let it off a bit before it holds it, probably why mine always seem looser after a month than when I did them up.

Yeah thanks guys. Just wanted a idea as to whether you guys think they need to be replaced. Its both sides and they haven't been done in at least 25 years as the car has been off the road for about 25. Only just got back on the road and it never had movement or sound previously..

Yea man, after 25 years off the road I'd definitely replace both. Bearings don't like sitting unused for that long.

They're like $10 bucks each on CARiD, so I see no reason not to change. Part number you need is "SET8", they are identical fr both sides, so order two.
