bigger isn't always better in some cases. Big intercoolers can be bad as the air starts to lose air velocity, and start bouncing off the walls of the piping and intercooler loses flow pretty much

water to air is best :)

Shane's talking about a heat exchanger (radiator) for a water-to-air intercooler - not the size of an air-to-air intercooler.

 

Stephen - I've got a C-series gearbox you can buy if you want.

Not really interested in a C-series box :).

 

Adam depending on if I get time I will be ringing up a few gearbox places to get a few quotes. I might have to get you to look into a 1.5way LSD unit. You told me of 3-4 I think ages ago.

I have to pick up my car and parts from BJ's. Having trouble organising the trailer and a location to store them. :) Plus I'm starting to worry that there's only one coilover, not both sides. :y:

Why would there only be one coilover WTF?

I'm not sure. I talked to BJ on the phone when I was picking some parts up, and he said there should be a comlete coilover strut, an insert, and a strut base in the boot of the KE70 he had. There was what he said, except it wasn't a complete coilover strut, but a stock KE70 strut. I'm hoping he's just put the other strut somewhere else and doesn't think that the stock strut is actually a D2 one. :)

I am almost certain he showed me Purple coilovers (Presumed D2) When I picked up the front window moulds off of the ae82 seca Hrrrrm. I remember him talking about D2 coilovers for the KE70 also?

 

And Adam, you done with the 20V exhaust flange template or what mate?

Yeah, I've got one complete coilover (originally for the KE70), but don't have any others. I thought it was a full set, so I'm wondering where the other three struts are.

I haven't been in his shed. If that's where it is, then that's cool. I'm hoping to get the car trailer Saturday, so I can bring the KE70 to your place if you give me a hand with both cars.

that would be exspensive, but a good plan, ive just decide i hav two many project goin atm, time to get the zook and mr2 back on the rd me thinks, read up heaps on problems with zook carbys goin to check a few things if it raining otherwise its get the front end back on the 2 and post pics time :)
