BEACHSLEEPIN
I'm lowering my '80 wagon and want to de-arch the springs. I have a press, and the spring pack taken apart, so before I go bending and mess something up.could somebody give me a detailed description of the best method of doing this. I just want to make sure my ideas are on track.
coln72
done it years ago but its too many beer cans in the past to give exact details :D don't go too far though, 2" drop at the springs put my KE35 on its bump stops
counc
also be careful not to overload the leaf otherwise you will destroy the structural integrity of them and be yup for buying some new ones
Jordan
just clamp the small leaf ontop of the stack upside down lowers 1.5-2" and rasises the rate. 1hour job Jordan

Xany
Lowering blocks are just a waste of space in my opinion....you're better off doing it right the first time and resetting the springs, like beachsleeper is going to try. good luck with it mate....hopefully you wont break anything :2thumbs:
