Mayorov Posted December 12, 2006 Author Report Posted December 12, 2006 At present works are suspended: - study manuals on repair/restoration of bodies. - choose necessary tools. here is wing. It is necessary to replace wheel arches, but I have not found, where they can be taken :P Quote
Paul Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 That front guard (wing) is stuffed, are they too rare over there to just be able to go to the wreckers and buy good parts? Quote
Mayorov Posted December 13, 2006 Author Report Posted December 13, 2006 That front guard (wing) is stuffed, are they too rare over there to just be able to go to the wreckers and buy good parts? In Russia parts for Rolla cars are on sale is younger 1985. I tried to search in a network, but results have not received. Paul, word "wreckers" mean - guys that assort the car on spare parts? (my poor language) :P as variant - use wheel arches from VW Golf MK2 ... or handmade fiberglass wings, maybe full aerokit. See later. PS What do you think about Dremel tools? Anybody use same devices? Quote
Des Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 I have very good friends that use dremel tools in jewellery and that is very detailed work and they have had them for years so they seem to be pretty good. Quote
Paul Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 Wreckers = A company which sells car parts. If they're too hard to find parts for, in your position I would be doing fibreglass. Pump the guards out (front and rear wings) about 70mm. (In a style similar to the 22B Subaru Impreza):) Quote
Mayorov Posted December 14, 2006 Author Report Posted December 14, 2006 too quick thanks! I shall test today Dremel 400. Paul, thanks! Maybe Delta Integrale style ? ;) because old rollaz have an angular design :) and name it Rolla Delta Angulare :) Sombody use this book? Helpful? Toyota Corolla 80-85 Owners Workshop Manual Quote
