  1. Yeah another great weekend, as WRC always is, but only 27 entries in a world class event when all the roads are already closed and spectators are forced to sit around waiting... then make it invite only to only those who can afford it? We need to push for it to be a round of East Coast Classics with generic shared pace notes or even better... make it blind like a real rally with just a roadbook. Stop selling out our sport and passion. But anyway... we have news! We're building the rally car again! Our next event is our local forest... 9th March 2019 (3 months away) Wauchope Rallysprint for anyone who is still following haha :)
  2. Here's the famous Welsh's Creek 33km stage in-car from TRD KE70! A big shout out to Tony and Chris (and crew) who managed a second place outright (against many 4WD turbos with 3x the $$$) in this round of the Queensland Rally Championship last weekend at Rally Australia - Coffs Harbour!!! This is how they do it!!! There's another two vids they've put up next to this one too when you're finished watching this but need more KE70 4AGE gravel goodness!!! As Keith's updated - hopefully we'll soon have a workshop and our own 4AGE *E7* to run against you guys! We're aiming for next year - providing my scaphoid bone in my right wrist has finally healed!
  3. Lots of progress... Lucky someone's on the ball and takes some photos... Can't have our readers falling asleep Where's the rally car?! Isn't there meant to be a rally car?! I'm sure that's why I clicked here...
  4. Second that! Some more lights for the Woolshed at last!
  5. I must have forgotten to reply to this?! It was awesome to meet another Toyota enthusiast when I couldn't find my mates or our car haha :) Dad just put the Auto Action writeup on the Tilton Interiors Evo on the table too! I'm trying to find your build thread because I'm sure I remmember reading one on your Red AE71 years ago when I was trying to buy a 4AGE AE71 back in school... Tell me you're gonna give rallysprints a go with that spare Corolla shell? :) I've been flat out doing a 4A-GE conversion for my daily, just finished stripping the donor car... Then off to China for two weeks. Altezzaclub should be up at the start of next month and we can finally build a rally car!
  6. So clean. Love it. I wouldn't change a thing on it! :)
  7. Updates! Updates! Where are the updates?! :)
  8. Only the driest sense of humour here at Woolshed Rallying! Love this. :)
  9. Haven't you got a rally calendar to look at Keith? You don't have time for TE72s with 3S motors! Where's that rally dedication?! :P Dominicaneddy nice cars man! Few questions... Is that an A frame setup that you used to originally get to your place? Looks way too short to be a car trailer in the photo... Haven't come across one before, only heard of them. Legal? Details! :) Also I don't think we have any of those Carinas in OZ, we'll I've never heard of one here anyway, looks clean as! What power is it making with the huge turbo?! Nice fab work btw and keep the updates coming!
  10. How's this Corolla looking for the 15th March at Bago? :) Give her a shakedown at the Armidale Rallysprint with us on the 22nd February!
  11. NOT POSSIBLE! MOAR photos! MOAR! :) Top work as always Craig, I assume you're doing the painting yourself too? Looks too good for a rally car paint job! How many coats are you doing and what type of paint? Different paint for the lower doors and sills? Keep the updates coming!
  12. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! I'm checking this thread every day for your updates! I'm sure that I'm not the only one! Keep 'em coming! :) Let's see this at the first AMSAG round next year!
  13. Such top workmanship as usual Craig, keep the updates and photos coming! :) Does this driver and nav have inspector gadget arms or something to be able to reach around for those extinguishers? :P I can't even reach my helmet in the net behind the nav seat when I'm strapped in!
  14. No idea who's driving, maybe it's in the description on YouTube or something? Haha it actually is the closest thing we've ever got to testing! It felt strange driving the car before the first stage! :P It's all team work Ken! Keith and I have been working on it since last Saturday all day everyday. Dad actually keeps the farm running while we're in the woolshed haha which allows us to work 24x7 on the car. Josh came by Thursday to lend a hand and Matty dropped by Friday morning. There's so much dedication and preparation by our whole team to makes it all come together in the end. :)
  15. Booh yeah was a great weekend! 14th out of 28 wasn't too bad for Woolshed Rallying's first run in 5 months! As Keith was saying, too fast for The Big Girl- Rallying shouldn't be about holding it flat in 4th and 5th over blind crests, as adrenaline filling as it is :P. Josh is a great addition to the team and should be sticking around, he's just as mad about rallying as we are haha. :) As usual big thanks to all the team; Keith, Dad, Matty and Josh - that's 14th place for Woolshed Rallying, not me. :) The Big Girl will be getting a good pressure wash and clean tomorrow. Then onto tidying up the Woolshed and then investigations into 18R-G to Altezza 6 speed bellhousings! :P
  16. Should of come over and said g'day! :) She's a parts car, found at a very good price... I'm cooking up a few Woolshed Rallying plans for these glorious holidays that begin in a week! Stay tuned! ... Ah now HE knows! :P
