  12. MMMMMM There must be deeeeeeeeeeeeper issues I'm thinking
  13. Chris do it for FRIGS sake, then if its better by a carby from a 2LT cortina/adapter plate and happy driving.
  14. Guys,i have had a look at this setup. Let me tell you it aint pretty, by that i mean what happens is when you try to accelerate the engine just lays flat and wont rev (AT ALL) and spits all the fuel back out of the carby. Its not timing related,i changed the jets up and down sizes seemed at tad better with smaller ones in under no load but was very hard to drive to the point of rediculous. My suggestion was to get some bigger chokes ie: i run twins with 32mm chokes so one carby would surely need at least 32mm chokes???. I have never seen a carburettor act like this EVER. Matt
  15. Whatever the lift is at the cam ,times it by 1.5 and then subtract the tappet clearance and you have the valve lift. Not sure what the standard valve lift is. 10mm valve lift is .400",not bad at all
  16. Times it by 1.5
  17. I would suggest around 8 or 10 depending on what the total is on the distributor.
  18. Just have to select the one that best suits your needs and engine spec's
  19. Yeah but i think the smaller duration would be better for you, seeing as you want driveability. I just want HP and HEAPS of it.
  20. Is it any good that program and if so where can i get a copy . Ill measure the valve sizes tomorrow for ya,ive got some old ones aout of the 3K engine that dropped a valve
  21. What you talkin bout chris??????/
  22. Not sure on the exact size but there is like .030" between the two valves, the comp ratio is only 10.5 to one. Have you run the cam on the DYNO2000 program Vs other cams yet like the CAMTECH 609.
  23. Yeah i think youre right ,which is why i am using the bigger valve area.
  24. Yeah good, don't want to use really big lift in these engines i find, just what ive found anyway.
