  3. Ok ive got my M/Cyl now .GB GAlant style. Do i need to have new brake lines made to be able to reach the new fittings on the M/Cyl or will they make it.

  5. Yes mate the combustion chamber on a 5K head is very small,it would be about 1/3 size of a 3/4K.

Ok can someone tell me FFS what they mean when they say ,use a walbro pump,do they mean an external EFI pump from repco or are people using some specific model car pump for there EFI conversions.I went to repco today and all they had was a universal external pump for $400, WTF. Please help me. Yeah pics would be great cheers
  9. Does naybody have any idea how to mount the walbro inside my KE10 tank and where do i run the return line and will 1/4 line be ok for the return line.
  10. Yeah standard 5K eleccy dissy using just the mag pickup with ignitor removed amd crane HI-6 ignition controler etc. If i use the 3K head with the bigger combustion chamber than the 5K it will drop the C/R not raise it right.

Youre a good lad,my injection is here :abuse: ,so I'm gonna bang the thing back together with two head gaskets for now to lower the comp for the semi flat top pistons till i can get the 3K head.Just so i can setup the injection and wolf etc and move it so i can drive my GT. :lolcry: Then when i get the head i will pull it again and set it up properly and then hang the turbo.

  18. No there is nor reason whatsoever that you can't do that ,i think we are all thinking it is a 5K,but its not so just face the lifters and get on with it. Youll be fine. I wouldnt mind buying them back @ $50 plus postage . Let me know.

  20. He has a 4K and i sold him the old cam out of my 5K,so hes going to put it in his 4K with his lifters that come out of the engine after he has them faced. Then he will do the pushrod bit and use his STD rocker gear. AND if he wants i will buy the lifters back,cause i thought he had a 5K. :dance: .
  21. Guys i don't understand the whole A/R thing with turbos so can someone tell me what i need for my 5K.

  23. Ok youre on the money,BUT if you want to use the 4K lifters you will need to get them faced before you run them on this cam. Yes you will need to remove the lifters so they don't fall in the sump.So take them out and to an engine reco shop and ask them to face them for you ,prolly cost $2 or $3 each maybe???. I wouldnt bother with the degree thing as you have no way of changing it even if it is slightly out,just line it up dot to dot. Its easy job mate,the hardest bit might be getting the lifters out past the head if the casting is too thick
