I've seen a KE55 with an aftermarket Boot release and the fat lever located by the drivers seat was labeled trunk. So it could be an aftermarket item that may have been sold at an automotive store. This may be the same?

Yeah, well I'm sure I'll never stick that crap in my car again. 1 and a half days and over half a tank gone. And thats just to and from work. Massive drop in power too, its like the car is full of people.

I've tried to self operate again. :sob: I had an operation a couple months back on my foot to remove my toenail. They left a small bit and now it hangs out but wont rip off. its really irritating as it hooks onto my sheets and socks and stuff. I tried to rip it out with pliers earlier, I felt it rip and it begun to bleed but it wont come off. I'll try again tomorrow... maybe after a drink or two.

Okay, my question to you all... When driving in traffic, do you lane hop to move to the faster moving lane with hope that you advance further into the traffic?? I myself admit I do cause I hate sitting in traffic. Although I do it does anyone agree that changing lanes to the faster moving lanes causes the traffic and therefore slows the lanes down? :sob: J.

I was playing Monopoly on my phone at work like usual (That's how bored I get) and I bankrupted the computer player (like usual). But this time I kept him alive long enough to take all of his property and build houses and hotels on every card. How cool is that? I think next time I'll try to get both get out of jail cards too.

I found this in a KE35 at a wrecker today. I know that it isn't a factory thing, but was wondering what it would have been in originally?? Or is it an aftermarket thing??

Spotting a fair few rolla's in my travels. Today I was qued in traffic in the right lane of a two lane carriage way, when I corolla driving down the empty left lane stopped in front of me, barged in and have me thumbs up about my car. I donno weather to be shitty or happy. I should be handing fliers out but I wasn't wanting to abandon my car to hand it out. Maybe next time.

Not sure if anyone has spoken about this but I have been curious about E10 for a while now. I've heard that it can only be used with some engines. Can it be used with K engines?? Usually servo's only have the E10 Regular Unleaded Petrol, but this morning I pulled into a servo that only had E10 fuels and since I only use 98 I tried their 98 E10. I was stoked at the 137 price tag too. Can anyone shed some light and opinions?? thanks, J.

Today was good, I picked up my new compressor that I won from ebay. I'm so excited, getting it in and out of my 30 was fun. And my molded boot carpets for my KE30 and KE55s finally arrived today. It only took a few months (most of which finding proof that I paid... THROUGH PAYPAL)

I myself was thin and found it hard to put on weight. I like to think that I'm at a better weight but people still say I'm a twig. I guess I'll never beat it.

I think you can buy new chrome strips. Clark Rubber also sell rubbers and strips. Give them a go. As for rippin the sucker out, maybe lay a blanket/sheet down inside the car and have the vac on standy. If your in the market for a new rubber just cut the old one and remove the screen as a whole.

Yeah, I have one too. Smeggin trucks!! You might need a rubber too unless yours is good and ya smash ur current screen.

The KE30, KE36, KE38 and KE55e windscreens are the same. I'm not sure about the KE35, KE55s and KE55p's. So any 4 door screen will fit.

I too would like to know how tall you are. Cause 74 isn't much if your tall. My OMG for today was when I got into the car this morning for work. It was cold and the windscreen was all wet. So I stuck my wipers on and my stereo cut out. I turned the wipers off and the stereo worked fine. I found it odd so I did it again and it happend again, and again. But after a while it stopped doing it. Its just odd. Time for a new headunit.
