I did some painting today and I am happy. Soon my car will be ONE colour!! Before After

Oh really, I didn't notice :bash: Within time it will be painted too. Buying a new compressor soon. I should have gone to my sisters and used my brother in laws compressor but I was hoping to rip the engine out of SL2 today. Sadly By the time I was finished spraying the car with the can, I was almost ready for the next coat. I HATE SPRAY CANS!!

Okay, so I brokeded my compressor yesterdie. And today, sick of seeing so many colours when looking at my car, I did some painting. I only did half the roof, I'll do the other half another time. Isn't she so beautiful!! Next on Saturday is the bonnet.

That would be sweet. And if that KE36 has a passenger side mirror, I'll take that too :bash:

Yeah both my KE36's have the mounting points under the trim for both types of handles. I'd like to see if the back seat can be dropped down without having to open the back doors with the strap handles. Na yours wouldn't be the only one without a rear demister. KE36's usually were the budget models. You had to pay extra for items like radio, demister, cig lighter, clock and I assume the non strap handles. OMG!!!!! You have a rear wiper!! I thought it was the demister!! Are they common?? Can you find any more?? :bash: I was thinking about modding one onto my wags but I'd defiantly need that switch.

Na, I was driving my sisters Lancer Wagon with her kids in it. A couple mins later some old nutcase in an 07/08 rolla tried running us off the road as she overtook and went onto oncoming traffic.

WoW, so the back doors got strap handles while the front got real door handles. And doesn't look like you have a rear window demister, so whats the switch for? :bash: Aslo where are ya from??

Not sure if anyone else found this useful, but could we get the clock back on the main page?? I have a habit of refreshing the main page then literally 4 seconds later forgetting I refreshed it, so I do it again. The time helps me see when I refreshed the page. thanks, J.

Yeah, you have metal bars while be have steel ones. Our bars hang over about a meter?? I saw one of these a while back at the wreckers. I think the door trims are basic, do you have pics?? the one I saw had trims just like a KE30 had. You could see the colour of the car along the top of the door.

What type of car is she?? Just a daily?? Or a project? How is she going to look, sporty?? or Classical? What engine is she gonna have?? Is it a she or a he??

Me :bash: The whole front is different to out KE70's. The lights, bumper and guards for a start. I donno what else, maybe tail lights too.

What do people think about merchandising?? I'm thinking about Jackets and shirts. Clothes that members could wear to cruises. Just something with rollalcubs name or logo on them, maybe the website addy. It would create a warm atmosphere and would attract attention from other people, therefore wondering what we are doing and where we are from. (Advertising) I've seen other car clubs walk into maccas and all have matching jackets. Looks cool.

I was once told that they were cheap rims that were common. You do see them around, you just have to find them.
