You might want to see if you can have that shelf rebuilt in metal. I found this one in a car I bought. The one on the right has warped from just the weight of my CD wallets.

Its around the $200 mark.

Yeah go Ebay. You can pick up the sets pretty cheaply. I bought one for my hardtop for around $150 and I got front and rear windshield, boot seal and two door seals. And if the seller hasn't got anything listed just ask them, who knows, they might be able to do you a deal.

I'm pretty sure that all early KE35's got the trip meter. According to the book it was available for the others as an option. I'm pretty sure the late KE35's wouldn't have gotten them as they were made here in Oz. But then again Leigh's KE35 could have been messed with by someone. I have a pile of them and find they don't work properly. Plus who wants a trip meter speedo where the K's counter resets after 99,999km's?

There is seriously no need to blur your plates out. Are you telling me if you go on a cruise or outing with other corolla enthusiasts you will cover your plates?? Besides, if someone from that cruise takes a pic and uploads it, they most likely wont erase your plates from the picture.

That was the first thing I noticed. I think no matter what you choose it will look off. I can't remember what car it was but I remember seeing Supra tail lights on a Corolla. In my opinion nothing is better than the original ones.

You know nothing now but in a years time you'll have a great deal of knowledge. When I got my first KE30 I didn't know how to change a gearbox. But a mate helped me out and from then I've known. you just need someone to show you ay.

All KE55's have a bend. But you can do without. It'll just be a slope instead of flat then bending up.

Driving down Logan Rd this morning at Garden City when I over took a big black Hummer. He then pulled in behind me. For some reason I slowed down and stuck to the limit. I kept catching red lights so I started to study him thru the mirror. He was wearing a blue shirt with dark blue shoulder thingos. I figured he must be on duty cause I doubt he'd be able to afford a Hummer on a coppers salary. lol So he finally gave up on me after he tailed me all the way to Upper Mt Gravatt (Where Zupps is), even tho I was being overtaken by people who were speeding. So just wanted to say thanks to those members that posted in this thread. If not for them I surely would have been in a bad mood all day.
