Nice find there mate. It would all depend on what you want out of it. Engine upgrade? Brake Upgrades? Lowering? Sound system? Centtral locking/Alarm? Wheels?

Na, I had to let go of the Forester sadly. Well today I'm driving a Mazda 3... And man it flies!! Only thing is the landing isn't so soft :dance: My bad.

lOl. Well I took the car back Monday and haven't heard anything. So I rang today around lunch and he said he would call me back. So at 5pm after not hearing from him I rang again. He then rang the workshop then told me the service guys are away on holidays. Like WTF everyone!?!?! So apparently they sent my car away to a place where they do front ends and may not know anything about it till tomorrow or Monday. I think they are changing the front diff even tho RACQ said it was the rear diff. So I guess I'll ride this out, let them replace as many parts as I can with brand new ones, then have them to the major service that the car is due for, a full tank of fuel and a few upgrades for free. :dance:

I've pulled the choke out before to keep it going. Its also good for when the car has running issues and wants to stall.

You have come pretty far with this one. You know it has no rust. I'd just be worried if you bought another one that looks good from the outside but has rust hidden somewhere or even worse... BOG :dance:

Just buy another carport thingo, a cheap car cover or even a tarp to go over the carport for now. What ever you buy is going to decay and eventually fall apart. No point buying an expensive cover. I've bought expensive covers for my cars and they've fallen apart. Just get a cheap one for now.

Yeah the end of the speedo cable where it plugs into the auto is different to the manual. You'll need a manual cable. As for settings you can have it adjusted. Don't ask me how but there is a business up here in Bris that plugs some sort of box upto the gear box and it corrects it. Somewhere along those lines anyway.

Na, it would be two letters. Like my old KE30 was BA. It stood for Buttercup. Take the code down to autobarn and they should be able to mix you up a can if you like it in a can, or pot. Oh and as for the AE/TG. I'd say the colour code is AE for on the firewall it would say Colour/Trim. Your colour is AE and trim is TG.

Spoken to a few mates over the last few days and seems everyone has a different opinion. The car dealer have changed the front CV joints for sure but not the back ones. And it seems thats where the problem is. I just took some pics...

Yeah it'll need alot of strengthening, reinforcing and bracing. You'll need it to be engineered for sure. I'd assume they would need to be consulted every step of the way.

Got my car back today. I so wanna come but its going back on Tuesday. :yes: Looks like nothing has been fixed. I'm about to make them give me another car. So in the event its all good on that date I'll tag along. Tabs if Glan can't/wont come, your welcome to ride in my car. :wink:
