Similar thing happened to me. I was working on my KE25 when an old 1970's tobacco tin fell out from under the dash. Well I think it was tobacco...

Okay, how about we everyone nominates their favourite cars. I put them up in a poll. The poll runs from the first of September till the end of September in that time all nominated cars are to do a photo shoot. Failure to do a photo shoot means they get bumped off. At the end of September the winners are announced and the calendar gets sent away. We happy with that?? If so you all have till the 31st of August to nominate.

I think they should all be driving around in Astras :P

I found I've had similar problems. Firstly behind your speedo there is a little metal sender with 3 legs coming off it. They aren't connecting with the copper lines at the back of the speedo. The other problem I had was with wiring. My demister fuse blew and it knocked out my fuel/temp, reverse lights and demister. (I think there was more) Could be a crossed wire?

Yeah everything bolts up. Umm I'd be looking for around $350 for the 5K and $120 for the venetian if it falls through.
