  1. Looking good there mate. She's coming along. :)
  2. Yeah all KE3x/KE55 parts are interchangeable assuming they are of the same size/shape. All front ends are exactly the same and same with mechanicals Parts then differ as the bodies change. I hope that makes sense. If you need anything feel free to hit me up. I'm culling my collection a we speak.
  3. By sunvisor you mean the internal one or the aftermarket external ones? I have one of those venetians from my old KE30. I've promised it to rolladude, if he decides he doesn't want it your welcome to it. I also will be selling my 5K's tho they are only standard ones.
  4. WoW man, looking great. I have to admit I was never really a fan of these models but they are growing on me. Well done :)
  5. I'm not entirely sure. Try rarespares, Clark Rubber, maybe even Repco or Autobarn.
  6. Hey man, wow, nice neat ride. Great starting point for a project. If you need anything man let me know, I have a ton of parts that I'm offloading atm. So where in Bris are ya??

    Next Cruise

    ARE YOU LOST?? STOP SHOUTING!!!
  8. Shouldn't the rego have been changed over at the transport department??
  9. 47Lt in wagons/vans and 50Lt in sedan/coupes. ** I calculated from F to E it was around 40Lts. So I assumed there was 10 from E to empty.
  10. Well the drive from Toowoomba to Blacksoil and back is alot less than the drive everyone else is doing... and back.
  11. That strip along the side of the car as far as I know is a generic strip and is available aftermarket brand new.
  12. Well I know this project has stopped but I have to empty my garage. So since I don't want to junk these overrated wagon seats and door trims and carpets, I've fitted them to the wagon with hops that it may help with the sale too... Before... After... Sadly I had to junk these :lolcry: 10 Seats and 6 Door Trims :P

    Spotted Qld

I saw that car the other day. Can't remember where I was tho. Possibly around the stains.
  14. Has the dash got 3 gauges? Clock, Speedo & Tacho?/ If so then you could have a SR coupe. All (Late I Think) KE35's (& KE55s's) had the stripes. I've been told that the ones with the thick stripes in the centre of the door is the manual while the ones with the thinner stripes high on the doors are the auto's.
  15. If I may just but in... http://www.whereis.com/?id=91F851BD9DEC25 Mt Whitestone looks to have some nice twisty roads...
  16. Or if you know any tradies with a cordless grinder :D
  17. You might want to tell us what car you have and maybe show us some pics.
  18. Sounds like a long drive to me and a massive detour. As for the cruise I'm happy to come either as a passenger or drive my new car just not lead the cruise.

Now here are some examples to get this going. I'd like to nominate my mates KE30 for the 2 door KE30 slot... I would also like to nominate DB king (KE70 Pano) and AE80RollaGuy (AE90 hatch) Teddy's KE70 for the KE70 slot... And Rollabus for his AE82 Sedan If anyone feels they know someone better that they would like to nominate post their details and a pic so we can vote. And please nominate any other models that would fit in their fields. thanks, Jon.
  21. Caltex? Wouldn't that be on the wrong side of the highway?? You need to go into more detail on where the southern end will be headed. Will it be going via the Logan Mwy?? If so maybe meet at the Yatala BP??
  22. The cruises can't always go to the GC and Sunshine coast mate. We do have members out in Toowoomba and Gatton. Its only fair.
  23. Yes it should along with a wagon/van shield. The only ones from the fleet that wont fit are the Hardtop and the Liftback.
  24. Okay I couldn't find any pics on my pc of a door trim do here is this... Stick the Allan Key behind the winder against the clip and wind the window. The clip will turn with the winder but since the Allen key is there it will be forced to come off. Hope it makes sense. :hmm:
  25. Your right, its been done time and time again. Yes there is a special tool you can use but I find you can use a screw driver or even an Allan key.
