  1. Lovely work, looks very neat.
  2. I believe we have this, with Internode: HOME-Extreme-Value $59.95 Min: 1500k/256k, Max: 24000k/1000k 20 GB Shaped ADSL 2+ They offer a lot of stuff for the price, which in my oppinion is very competitive considering. Check their website, for more info Internode
  3. You could talk to this guy.... Clicketh
  4. I feel for you man. Nothing is worse than that feeling you get when you realise your car isn't where you parked it. :P Then to torch it, low life scum with no respect. Good luck with getting a new car.
  5. If your only going to use the jack, take both the rear wheels off, and place them under the sills, that way if the car falls off the jack you have some protection.
  6. Ok this time it is necessary. Do not under any circumstances drive on the road in an unregistered car. Think Dammit, If you have a crash, hit a pedestrian, or other wise injure or maim someone while driving an unregistered car, you are not only a dick head, you aren't insured. For the rest of your life you would be f@$ked over paying someones hospital, and rehibilitation fees. Unless you are a complete dick head who would f@$k someone elses life, and then give them the big finger cos your to poor to pay. There are reasons it is ILLEGAL to drive an un registered, un roadworthy car. You aren't just f@$king with your own life on the roads, there are others that use them too. End rant :)
  7. Never mind, you seem intellegent, even if JiP_01 isn't.
  8. There is two bolts holding the alternator onto the engine. The bottom long bolt will act as the pivot for the top bolt, which is connected to a rack. Loosen the bottom bolt only slightly, then the top bolt, and push the alternator away from the block. Retighten the top bolt, and then bottom one. Mind you don't over tension the belts, as its not good for them. You'll most likely need some help with this process
  9. +1 vote for Valley View. Nice suburb to live in, good views too. :)
  10. Edit: Correction. and then Quoted from Nissan Silvia.com Thread here
  11. Depends entirely on your suburban location.
  12. Write up another project thread, post pictures and explain....
  13. This is inspired by the other topic. but without the limits. What would you do to your rolla if you had the cash? No limits on what you spent it on. I would start with a good KE70 wagon base. I would then proceed to cut the floor including wheel arches etc out of the boot of a sedan, and weld it into the wagon. This would enable me to fit coilovers all round. While I'm at this stage, I would fully stitch weld the entire car. Then I would fit up a fully rebuilt, slightly worked 3S-GTE, bigger turbo, Nice exhaust. Fit a tough 5 speed (not sure what would fit). Fit a mechanical LSD to a modded Borg warner diff (cheaper than other options), giving me a disc rear as well. Upgrade front brakes. Nolthane all round, thicker front sway bar, tower brace as well. Watts link on the rear, with thicker swaybar as well. Give the car a full respray. I would get some jelly beans, or Watanabes. Why a wagon you may ask? In my oppinion Wagons look damn cool :D
  14. I would go with Hot up over show. Probably use a KE30 or KE35 (which ever is the two door).
  15. Heh not as stupid as you make out. Someone I know got a new set of snow skis in a rich area, someone was just tossing them out.
  16. Last year a Mate got a working 17 inch monitor from the kerbside. About 3 weeks ago while out crusing with him, we found another 17 inch monitor, in perfect working condition. Not only that, it is exactly the same brand as the first one, just 2 yrs older. Previous scavenging expeditions have netted us: a working vacuum cleaner, a golf buggy, two record players, a pair of speakers (still used as my computer speakers), and $13.50 in one and two cent pieces.
  17. You could get a TE72 for that money, not sure what condition though. Its also post 1980.
  18. ummmm giggle gas ;) took me a few seconds to work that one out.
  19. I was lucky that it was on the other side of the car, I got away with whiplash. My neck was sore for a few days though. I have a pic of that too... ;) The weirdest part of the story. I got out to make sure the people in the other car were ok, the older asian lady in the mazda gets out and starts abusing me, she was ranting on for a few seconds there, I was just standing there in shock at this old lady going off her nut, she just stops and clutches her chest and starts hyperventilating. It was kinda strange, I was just trying to see if all were ok and got abused for it. Never did find out what happened, just got charged $300 for 3rd party bodily damage ;). The annoying thing was, none of the family could speak english very well, so it was frustrating getting details.
  20. Yeah I would have fixed it too, but it was well past that. The shock tower was pushed back. So it would never have run properly straight again. ;)
  21. As promised, here is a pic of my late KE70. R.I.P.
  22. works I guess. :P
  23. Next time you get it say something like this. person: Nice Gemini you: Thanks, nice falcon by the way. person :P: Its a Commodore not a Falcon. you: Mines not a Gemini either.
