haha nice I think I have had a chat to you about this before Jordain but yeah I think i will go 14 x 6.5 fronts and 14 x 8 rears, what tyres are you running I'm finding it really difficult to find decent low profile performance tyres to suit.

Would really like some input before I start spending the $$$$

I am currently looking at a set of rims for my ke11 and I cannot decide if I should go 14" x 6.5" on front, or 15" x 6.5" then on the rear 14" x 7.5" or 15" x 7.5" If you look at the pictures below I have plenty of room to spare if I get the inside of the guards professionally rolled there should be plenty of room and that is the height it will be staying. I will also be keeping the original rims and tyres for those odd occasions :cool: . If someone has some pictures or experience with this size rim on a ke1x vehicle I would like to hear your comments, pros and cons. thanks guys and gals :y:

ok yeah didn't realize that they would have to be but, now if i can find a blow through side draft carby I think ill do that as I can run a intercooler and blow off valve.

hey guys I have already completed the 7k conversion into my ke11 and will be doing the same sort of turbo setup as this, I will be using a garrett gt28 ball bearing turbo, custom turbo manifold, using the original inlet manifold with an additional adapter, head work port and polish and larger valves, double vavle springs, mild cam to suite application and a full turbo back exhaust. It should really boogie :dance:

Got mine from the same place was happy with it but the holes did not align with the water pump and the belt they sent was to small so that was a bit of a pain. On the original topic what turbo would be best to use on this setup? Price around $500

Yes that is a gilmer drive pulley setup it sounds pretty awesome and it looks pretty sweet, hope KETURBO25 finds this topic and has some info about there setup.

Hey SLO-030 thanks for that I have actually watched the clips of this engine on youtube runs great would like to chat with the owner about it. And yeah the setup will be pretty much the same, but I would like to find a cheap 45 or 48DCOE I think one of those would work really well when tuned correctly just as they are that little bit less restrictive. this is the engine bay I have to work in its pretty neat and tidy so it should look real nice once its done also its in a 1970 ke11 so it should really get it moving along :dance:

Hi guys I am still doing plenty of research, but would like to know what you guys would think of doing a draw through turbo setup on a 7k similar to this picture below which is on a nissan L20. And what sort of power figures I would be capable of achieving with standard internals (depending if I can afford to go forged), mild cam to suite, head work, tuned dellorto 40 dhla side draft, gt28 turbo, max boost of 12psi and full exhaust system. please help me out :thumbsup:

I agree with Philbey one of these Air boxes would flow extremly well, and for the time and money it would take for you to build yourself one its hardly worth it.

thanks heaps for that mate did you have to move the rear leaf springs towards the centre to get those to fit under there or they fit ok? and are you going to pump the guards or are you going to use a set of wheel arches or get a less wider wheel? but other than that they look really good :y: well done.

still looking at plenty of different options with this rebuild before I start emptying my wallet. I came across the thread with a draw through setup on a 4k (picture below) can you still run an intercooler with a draw through setup and are you still able to gain decent power out of this sort of setup. sorry for stealing pic

Hey Guys wondering if a set of 15x7's on the front and 15x7.5 on the rear would fit under a ke11 And just double checking the stud pattern for a 1970 ke11.
