  1. I think this is a reasonable price considering the work that has gone into this beautiful car.. and I'm not exactly in the biggest hurry so ill just wait and see how it goes this weekend ;)
  2. ke11restorer I owned it 2 years ago.. first time its been up for sale
  3. Thanks for all the generous coments and yes It is up for sale for the right price of course isnt everything... considering offers over $8500 also if there is any one heading into the "cooly rocks on" event this weekend in coolangatta it will be down there somewhere so keep an eye out for it ;)
  4. just putting out the question, how much my 1970 Toyota Corolla Ke11 coupe would sell for? the following has been done to the car; # Brakes upgraded to ke55 items front disks and rear drums, and all breaks just had a major service on them so stops on a dime! # Suspension has all been redone with new shocks and kingsprings in the front rear leafs are new items as well with new shocks aswell.. all bushes have been replaced aswell. # Steering has also been improved by the steerbox being rebuilt, sway bars fitted front and rear, new pitman and idler arms. # Engine is no longer the 3k, its got a 7k in it that had 65000 klms on it with dellorto dhla40, match ported inlet manifold, and extractors with the 5 speed box behind it, runs extremely well. # Interior has all new carpets, seats are all in good orginal except the drivers has a tiny bit of stitching opening up, sound system all hiden extremly well, 5 1/2 inch splits in the custom fiber glass kick pannels, rear parcel shelf has two 6inch 3ways and a 12inch sub, amplifier is under drivers seat along with the head unit so the dash still looks original, under the passengers seat is a dvd player which has the sceen in the back of the glove box so it can still function as a glove box, the dash has been redone also and steering wheel 2pac painted same as the car. # body work is good with some small bubbles coming through on the doors and a little on the boot. click the link to see the pictures, its the last corolla on the page ;) http://www.rollaclub...e/page__st__120
  5. well I'm using a 3k starter and have for over a year and it works great.
  6. Wow bro this is going to be awesome really good job keep it going :y: :y: :y: :y:
  7. I will be starting a supercharger setup on my 7k as soon as I move home next month, I already have a most of the parts, sc14, intercooler, blow through carby, pipe work, surge tank and pumps. But what I want to know is what would be the best diameter exhaust, hotdog, muffler ect to run on this setup? (already have extractors) Thanks for your help :y: :y: :y:
  8. I was also thinking of installing a visor, but should probably get the rust in that f@#$ing door fixed first :bash:
  9. Yeah and it all depends on how long you want this build to take but if you have the money and time good luck with it.
  10. Those fronts are tucking nicely now good job, and yeah I would love a 3sge sitting in my ke1x too
  11. I am also doing a similar setup on my 7k in my ke11, I will be running twin blow through carbs with a fixed supercharger pulley running off my gilmer drive pulley kit so there will always be boost. Say if you have your supercharger is setup to run 10psi @ 5000rpm this will mean for every 500rpm there will be 1psi of boost, So in this case at idle there would be no more than 2psi which means the spring in the BOV will have to be really soft to take any unwanted pressure off the throttle butterfly or carby. I'm not sure how this will affect the performance of the BOV at gear change or shutting of the throttle at 5000rpm or higher. Not sure if this has actually answered any of your questions but thats my two cents :y: :y: :y: good luck with it mate.
  12. very good job here mate and all I can say is you can't really put price on how much fun you would have driving this awesome car? think about it before you sell it and its one of a kind :y:
