  1. Next month at some point. I will link in this thread to the new one so you all get notified when its on ;)
  2. My absence was purely circumstantial bro, I wasn't expecting to have to attend a going away party, which will only happen once, but organising another cruise can happen again in a few weeks. Ill be putting another one up soon to give peopel more time to prepare and get their cars ready, or re-arrange schedules etc. so hopefully that means more people. I'm fine with people bringing their daily vehicles, as it's mroe about the contacts and people, than having a giant Corolla train for me, but I understand maybe restricting it to Toyota 'owners' :P Thoughts? ~Chris~
  3. On the subject of carby's stalling, on a 4k with manual choke, which screws do what, and tightening=more or less fuel? I am yet to source a Gregory's or the like yet, and would much appreciate this info ;) Cheers EDIT: I know which screws are adjustable and where they are, but am not 100% on which one is idle/low/high
  4. Sorry if this is annoying, but where did you source your sunroof from? Looking into getting one further down the track but dunno what my options are. Running a Ksev wagon, so I figure what you did should be fairly close to what I need too :) Not too keen on running through 32 pages of info while at work either :P
  5. Wanna see my raging oil leak? It's somewhere you wouldn't expect ;) I am regrettably bailing. My route and specs have been left with ke70kid and he is taking over from here on out. I will organise another next month so that people have more time to get cars ready and such. Heaps spewing...
  6. ke70kid has a PM. I'm also rather cut...
  7. Believe it or not I fell asleep in front of my PC last night with google maps up... This morning at work was definitely not pleasant. Will attempt to get the map drawn up tonight when I get back home. Once done can I send you an email in case I can't get on here? PM me your email bro pleash. Just remembered I have rego next month... PIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. HERE HERE! WGMG: Offensively Broke... AGAIN! Oh and also loose women...
  9. Cross Rd Maccas good for everyone? Means hungry people can eat, and the broke people like me can rob the Maccas for a soft serve :fuzz:
  10. Are people ok with Gorge instead of Chainers? Just a wee bit quicker to get to Lobethal. Did you guys wanna finish in the hills then all head our seperate ways, or come back down the hill via Freeway and stop somewhere in town? If no one suggests something good I'll pick... :gurgler:
  11. $1,000 on tyres is a good spend too...
  12. Oh I forgot the Commodore option of doing so many roll backs that natural evolution takes over and your diff learns to lock itself. It also then resents life and ejects itself from the vehicle... For wet skidz, I'd say look into finding a mini spool, and maybe switching over to a 4.11 Borg Warner diff from an R31 Pinty, and get that spooled while its out. Should make car parks a bit nicer, but still lock when booted, and the ratio will give you decent response for having like -100hp :P
  13. I'm gonna buy Barney so I can set him on fire... Or rego and Ksev bits
  14. Could just be surface rust, or more underneath, so grab a wire wheel as suggested or grinder if your clever with one and see how deep the rabbit hole goes. DO NOT leave bare metal exposed for any length of time greater than a few hours, especially now its winter, as it will start rusting again almost immediately. Temp fix could be to sand back, hit with rust killer (some come as primers so when they dry you can sand a bit and paint or just leave them as is) and cover with primer and some touch up paint. Time, money and effort/motivation will be your main factors :) hope that helped
  15. Heath, you have a few options. Go to your local mechanic or welder and find someone to weld yours up, if done right and the centre is removed and all sides of the diff are welded correctly, then it should serve you well, I ran one with a fair bit of abuse (get your friend to kick you in the teeth kind of abuse) for over a year. Minispools are your next option which are convenient and can be removed, if caught :fuzz: Or a detroit locker, but wouldn't reccommend that at all. Then comes viscous LSD's which you could probably snag from an R31 or some other model of lsd'd vehicle, which can be cheap, but will need to be adjusted and tightened after a while which gets annoying. Mechanical LSD's are right on top, good control, reliablity and can come with adjustment... and they will also severely adjust your bank balance. I'm speaking from driving one, weldies are inconvenient, make parking like licking door knobs, and if in the wrong hands can be very dangerous. If you want to be loose as a goose on the street though, that would be my suggestion, although highly illegal and insurance voiding. Go to a track and skid... more fun. /rant
  16. Giant amounts of engine component throwing abilities... VRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM... *pingping* ClaBAM!!!!!
  17. Taking another right hander I see... way to go pussy!
  18. No probs Martin, glad to have you along :) Pretty sure still wet :(
  19. I can possibly get a Canon 400D and a decent cameraman there on Sunday, he still hasnt gotten back to me yet :S
  20. I'll make sure he has a few good ones after the cruise on Sunday. Don' think he actually has any decent shots of the car since he got the Superlights. Imma try and score a DSLR Camera for sunday :)
  21. Finally made it over here brother! Lemme guess, Jareth took your vanity shots of your tyres and such? :P Will you feed me beer to clean your engine bay? It is actually horrid and appauling  EDIT: just saw the LOOSE overflow bottle... Funny part is you still hook it down Norton Summit with that kinda stuff :P
  22. And some extra large baby wipes pleash... I get messy in my car most times
  23. Been reading your thread since it got started and I first joined bud, you have an inspirational wagon, the quality of which I hope to get close to at some point, and I can only imagine how proud you're going to be rollin' down to your local shopping centre, knowing that no other 16y.o has a respectable Rolla like yours ;) Enjoy being in the saddle, and don't (unlike myself and many others) abuse your privilege of enjoying our roads :) I learnt the hard way and only just got my license back Thursday just gone. It's painful if your not careful. /rant Can our wagon's get together and make hybrid Rolla wagons of awesome?
  24. WGMG: Being offensively broke... Like ALL the time... friggin eBay
