Hey guys just got a ke70 about to put up a build page for it but having sone issues with the timing and the points are about stuffed so am going to get some more but would like some help from someone who can set the dwell angle for me and maybe do some timing aswell Help would be very appreciated I'm in hoppers crossing but will travel a bit for help :) Thanks miller

Ok opened the points up to .018 Still the same :$ seems to maybe creep up aswell like the other night was sitting on 4000rpm at 100k (4 speed box in place of 5 speed ) now today it's up around 5000rpm at same speed!!! Points were a bit stuffed looking could this be it?

The tacho was $150 it's a 3 1/2 inch one I will try open the points up what should they be set to?

Hey guys just got a ke70 stock 4kc so I put a after market tacho in but the revs seem to wonder a bit and seem to jump up under acceleration but not with the engine if that makes sence? Like have it in top gear put foot down and revs jump about 400-500 rpm when the car hasn't gained any speed oh also it's manual Thanks miller

Hi guys I'm miller Just bought a 1982 ke70 4 speed manual light blue Now for the help part I just fixed up all the things for the rwc and the heater wouldn't select defrost windscreen so had a look and the cable had snapped now how do u get it out and where can I get a new one And if anyone could help me out there will be a 6 pack of what ever you drink

Yeh but $250 a wheel then let's just say another $150 a tyre that's already $1600 so it's already $1100 more then I'm aloud to spend right now I have a budget from the boss ( fiancé) of 3g so yeh cheap with stretch is all I'm after right now won't be used for any track work as yet

Nah I want to flare my guards out a bit while they are on and lower it to suit in still a while from new rims so unless someone can point me in a good direction to get some sweet rims that are wide enough to get some good stretch for like $500 I'll be keen lol P.s my idea was going to paint the center black and the rim polished still also the car is light blue :)

I just wanna stretch some tyres on them amd roll on them for a while tile the mrs allows me to buy some nice 14x8s but they will do for now much better then the bog stock 13" steels

Ok I'm buying a ke70 this week Now I'm going to buy a set of 12 slotters and redrill them to fit and stretch some tyres on and flare the guards now I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what would be best I have 2 options 1. A set of ford rims with dished rears and nondished fronts with pre au ofset 2. A set of hz rims I don't know the ofset but they r cheap but I don't know if the ofset will work does anyone els know? Thanks guys
