Yeh I drive about 15 mins to work every morning and sit on 100ks 90% of the way so 5th gear would be heaps better for me I very rarely drive through the city or in traffic because of my work hours I avoid most the traffic

Ok fixed guys Loomed at the other carb in the shed n worked out it was missing a washer on the large lever thing that sits onto of a spring thing and it was all the way down instead of all the way up so put that in and bang works better now Still needs a tune but it's a million times better thanks guys

Well it just surges most times driving to be honest It does rev past 3000rpm but realy struggles when it gets to about 4000rpm and then pretty much when u back off it just wants to die like it sucks it dry of fuel but I don't know Is the mixture the brass screw with a hole thro it or the steel long one?

All the ac lines seem fine none are cracked or anything It's a vac secondary A mate played with the mixture now it's even worse lol All the rubbers on the carb are perished as and missing

Hey guys just after your opinion On the weekend I thought I would have a look at my carby as it won't open the secondaries and always idles high so I had a look to make sure all the vac lines were on and had a play with the levers and things to see if maybe anything was seized or loose couldn't find anything wrong Now it started running better after I played with the levers and things and idled at a normal rev so I was happy then on my way home from work it started playing up a lil bit then I it's started idleing high again and then all the sudden just dies and other times it just looses acceleration This would be meaning the carbys shagged and needs to be replaced wouldn't it??

Is there any point in making the car run a higher oil pressure??

The reason I want more oil pressure because I have a plan to build the spare engine I have in the shed maybe get the crank balanced and rods balanced for some high revs and fit some zx10 bike carbs and put it into my daily instead of the planed engine swap I had in mind as my budget has dropped by a lot I was planing on running an oil cooler also and tuned exhaust But yeh all just plans and ideas in my head at the moment

What would be excess pressure?

Ok first question How do you guys do the oil pressure upgrade I have read that you put a 2mm washer in the oil pump but where? Ok second thing I have a rattle and squeak over about 70ks coming from my diff only started in the last week seams to be coming from the front of the diff and there is a touch of play in the front bearing is it possible to replace it at home or just look for another diff? I need to get a new diff anyways as it's 4:30 and I want 4:11 but it's annoying on the way to work Thanks guys Miller

Good cos it's a after work job n need the car the next day and to top it off the engine cranes just sit itself and spewed oil out seals

Ok e.go.com.au is nearly $20 from my place to Brisbane just as a starter then another $10 for packaging and what not so maybe could get postage down to $30 depending on were u live and what not let me know if you guys think this is unreasonable

That's with austraila post mate I can have a look into e-go.com.au if people want but if I had to take it to a depo it would cost for travel to get there as well as packaging ad what not so it would have to be considerably cheaper to make it worth it for u guys :) Cheers miller
