yeah mine is completely fine mechanically, minus the chopped springs : / think ill just take the dish steering wheel out, put the stock one. if anyone has any uncut stockies or lowered kings ill take them off ya hands. also any other general mechanical part for a ke70

hey guys, basically i have my ke70 at home that i wouldnt mind getting a roady done for. everything i can fix pretty cheaply, uncut springs ect. but unfortunately me and a couple of mates got drunk ;) and decided to use 10 cans of silver spray paint and painted the entire car. now it looks a little bright on the eyes but I'm unsure how it would go in a roady, can a car be un roadworthy if the paint is shit? nothing mechanical just the paint

i learnt this a while ago, when i phoned u and u said "i don't have much to do with cars anymore" :(

Stripped the rear, and primed it today. no more till the weekend now :( back to work :(

Hey fellas, picked up the ke70 3 weeks ago for $1000 good deal i found, standard 4k 5 speed. rust in the usual places- boot trim, around fuel cap ect. was going to pay someone to do it for me but i managed to do the research and learn to do it myself, The only experience with cars i have had is working in sales at ARB 4x4. First picture was the day after i got it. i took out fixing the rust and priming it

sup dudes, basically i have a red ke70, fixed majority of the rust over the weekend, now to priming it, I'm repainting the whole car back to grey/silver how do u think it will go with just primer over the original paint, don't have the time/patience to sit there sand the hole thing back, its just a street ke70 not wanting to make it look amazing. u think it will come up ok with just primer over the paint?????

Sup forum, i require somewhere in australia i can get dual carbs for the 4k. I'm on my p's so engine coversion or turbo is out of the question. must work the NA 4k :( what are engine options so i can keep up with traffic? and if anyone know a supplier of something that sells the shit, cheers

I believe 3k's did come with 5speed gearbox's. could be a starlet box?

Picked up this 83 ke70 on thursday, stock 4k 5speed (first car :D) so i guess this is an introduction the build of my ke70 throwing about $400 a week at it till i get the look I'm after (my budget)I'm also looking at options to fix the rust. from what i know its rusted in the "normal" places. attached is a few photos of the rust and car
