  1. Thanks mate, I was looking at the one in my brothers 82 pajero wondering why it didn't seem the same.
  2. What model and year mitsubishi are you using? looks very tidy!
  3. Poor Toyota in Iraq, I'm pretty sure its a Corolla. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=121_1368591758 Safe for work.
  4. It could be sugar in your fuel heating up and forming Cotton Candy in the exhaust manifold. Try eating some( at least 1-2lb) and get back to me. :poke:
  5. pass, unless your willing to pretend you stole it for shits and giggles whenever anyone asks about it :P honestly though, if it runs well I guess it could be good choice, pain free transport.
  6. I've used a Izuzu(180) carby from a TF gemini and i believe that the high end difference is pretty amazing, almost straight bold on with a spacer block, some one on this forum has an awesome write up on it. the hardest part was finding an airfilter for it. that an a pair of extractors. very happy.
  7. I swear to god that arrow is yellow. anyone else?
  8. Respect. Goddamn I love these little cars
  9. if it's a custom job then that's a bloody nice finish. kicks the hell outa that finish on the concrete wall behind it :P:
  10. For a moment there I believed you.. :wasted:
  11. thanks champion, back to the tyre shop for me!
  12. i was just wonddering if spacer plates were legal and if so what the maximimum spacing was for QLD. just been having troubles getting front tyres to fit without scraping at full lock.
  13. do you still have the fan cowl on the little beast? just when at a standstill they honestly really make a difference, i guess 50% atleast. and the fact that its not overheating when moving kinda suggests everything else is working fine. i put a thermo fan on mine and a tf gemini radiator and i think it looks alot nicer without the old 5 blade, white plastic finger remover.
  14. i was thinking a ca18de in my ke55 hard top. parts seem to be everywhere for them. i was reading the engineering side of it and i think with a brake upgrade and money. it would be similar to a 4age just not as sheepy. however if it were a DET motor i'm pretty sure that's just not legal in brissy [at a guess] i've heard of a ke10 getting stripped with a ca18 in it and shortened r31 LSD diff. any know if the ke55 and ke10 had the same width diff? and crossmember? http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/~/media/34bd158d-a671-4566-b3ca-7174f145875b/codeofpracticelightvehiclesreductionspart1.pdf page 29 for engine conversion 'law'.. facinating read.
  15. i'd love to get involved. i'm still finishing my KE55 2dr but theres nothing better then getting it out on a highway or sideways on a kerb. i'll post up some pics of my car soon as i can. live in the Kangaroo pt area. -paddy
