  1. yeah they are that style and yes they would look tuffa just need more people to tell me that, i can always get 2 sets of wheels lol. yeah he has got the superlites and yes they are for sale ill find out a price.
  2. sounds very nice, yeah my mate said he saw your car the other day driving along clarence st? yeah would love to see it sometime, when i get my licence back we should all go for a cruise i have heaps of mates with rotors mostly 1st gen RX7's, one of my good mates has the red series1 with tan interior and a 13B PAC built bridgeport u may have seen it around its very loud. and mine is very quiet but that may change soon.
  3. glad u like it yours is very very nice love the paint and wheels, does your RX have mainland plates by anychance? whats it got in it? havent seen it around b4?
  4. was that your RX7 that got burnt out? with the 14inch globes/challengers? sorry to hear about taht mate, yeah if i find them around ill let u know but I'm not in with the car stealing bogans for that area down here so i wouldnt get the offer to buy them, i was so pissed off when i hurd about that it made my skin crawl to think someone did that to an RX7 and took the parts?, nah i get all my wheels from my brother he works at bob jane ill let him know so if someone trys to sell them to him second hand he wont take em and report it to the cops maybe. they would be the wrong stud pattern, plus i want at least 15inch lol, in all seriousness though that sux about what happened and if i find anything out ill let u kno.
  5. Pics of my 2 cars. 12AT RX7 and T18 with rebuilt 3TGTE going in.
  6. why use an SR engine in a toyota when there are perfectly good 3SGTE's to be had, which don't have crappy single row timing chains and arent as good overall as an engine compared to the 3S. :jealous: . 3T's are getting old and have a shit ignition system but its good to be different and have something that not everyone has like an SR20 for example. ull find most parts still available from SW motorsport and i know for fact paradise racing do forged pistons for 600bucks aus for them. rings can be used from another manufacturer. most 3TGTE's around are pretty stock and have been converted cheap along time ago when they were cheap as chips there just isnt that many anymore which is a shame.
  7. to fit a CT26 from a 3SGTE/7MGTE all u need to do is file out one of the holes and it'll fit the 3TGT turbo manifold. 19psi is probly a bit much, are u still running the T50 gearbox? i hope its intercooled. u need a G series bellhousing to fit a W series box this will still retain the clutch slave cylinder on the correct side. where abouts are u located?
  8. no i meant thats what i am probly getting for it, the wheels hes selling for 700 are the ones on my car the RJR racers.
  9. rodney jane racers 17X7 sorry they don't make em anymore, yeah they are ok i don't own them but I'm looking at a set of 17's there are plenty that look better than those, either that or a set of 15x8 challengers. my mate is selling these wheels though for 700bucks with new tyres 205/40/17 and 235/5017 rear, u need hub adaptors though to fit on rwd toyota. yeah I'm daytona81
  10. yeah thats not me thats my mate brad i didnt go to that cruise as i didnt have my RX then, he has since had a 13BT in it then it blew up just got a freshly built large extend port 13B turbo s4 rotors. all new parts should make 210+ rwkw with std turbo. has got a cage and race seats in and good suspension, now rolling on 15X7 and 15X8 B45 simmons. heres a pic of it with his old gold B45 no engine in, now has wider charcoal grey B45's. new engine, housings have since been polished which took him ages. this is my RX7 with daytona kit, i love it.
  11. well, i don't understand the point of turbocharging K engines for the little amount of power they are going to make, sure it would have been good back in the day but theres new technology now so why not use it on the street anyway, sure enough use a K engine if your going to be racing in a certain catagory but even then u will get put up with the larger capacity motors because your running a turbocharger and they'll woop your ass anyway. same thing goes for 4AC why would u bother? just put a 4AG in it, sure everyones done it but ul have the power and technology so why not use it.
  12. Hobart mate, hmm i dunno whats going on i have 2 new topics for my post now... oh well. yeah its only my shitter wish it was finished but.
  13. Hi everyone I'm new to rollaclub hope to come for a cruise soon when my car is going heres a link to my car. cheers Ryan. My TE72 3TGTE
  14. hey all, just thought id start putting up info and pics on my project T-18 as i go along. the plans are to put in a fresh 3TGTE twin cam turbo just rebuilt, using a CT26 turbo, 450X300intercooler, and other neccesary mods inc 3inch exhaust, suspension upgrade etc, new wheels, a respray in blueprint blue, and some new wheels and interior revamp. when i first got it parked next to my mates mazda cap which now runs a 13BT. i brought the car with a stock 3T-C the 13X7 westerns on it as my first car when i was 17 and drove it around like that for a year or so. all i have done is chops the springs put a new steerer on it and give it a tidy up and service it now and then, the 3T-C is a bloody long lasting engine with nothing gone wrong with it since ive had it and still pulls ok for a completely stock 2 door corolla. Ive always seen T-18s with 3T turbos 3TG N/A hybrids and 3TGT's and always loved the twin spark twin cam turbo model and when my mate told me he had one at his workshop i picked it up as soon as i could at a good price with a spun big end bearing, it just didnt come with the proper wiring and no computers. when i got the engine. the engine had done little work in its life and the bores were pretty much perfect just the big end problem so it was time for me take it apart and get the crank ground by my mates dad a qualified engine builder he put over size bearings for that journal and std for the rest, i supplied the gasket kit from SW motorsport and a set of rings which were the wrong ones  so he used rings from a motor which use the same rings. the factory pistons and rods were left as they are. the head was reco'd and it was given a fresh coat of paint he put it back together and will be tops when its going. while the engine was apart i polished the timing cover up pretty good to make it look a bit more respectable. ive been gradually getting parts together for the conversion, i picked up a W55 5 speed, fuel pump, intercooler, and various other parts, i will be doing all the basic preperation so i can still drive the car around b4 the motor goes in, like relocation battery to boot, fitting intercooler, setting up fuel system, making the CT26 fit, etc etc. i started measuring up the intercooler to mount it last night and today fitted it with its brackets in the best spot, it fits extremely well in the front of the T18 and is fairly sleeper style if i put the grill back in, and nothing needed to be cut except when i do the holes tomorrow for the piping. ill update as i make more progress which is usually when i get paid lol
  15. or just use the X member u have and weld the engine mounts in a different area to suit, my mate did that with his 3SGTE AE86 sprinter should be a similar approach and less headache with worrying about the rack and peanut location. but I'm sure a TE72 X member will go fine the front ends are pretty much identical. 3TGTE parts are rare but i have some for sale I'm in hobart, i also know where there is a 3TGTE for sale about 2 streets away i have all the things u need computers inc knock, igniters, wiring harness, coils, also a CT20 turbo which looks like it might get snapped up soon and heaps more. as for rebuild parts u can still buy pistons, rings, gasket kits, use water pumps of 3TC's, bearings. the only things that is a bit exy is the timing chains and runners which are about 100bucks to get redone if they are worn. anyway if anyone needs 3TGTE parts ive got em.
  16. it wouldnt sound like that when a stock 12A flys past your coupe  . the go BRAP or BUZZ the only wanking sound comes from people that drive riced up piston engined vehicles when they think they have the power but they don't. go the rotors.
