  1. Went and bought one. Universal switch from a hotrod. Should look well out of place with all the carbon fibre it's mounted to :(
  2. Gents. As I'm getting off my slack arse and finishing off my car, some things are holding me up. Namely for today. The wiper motor wiring on my ae86. I have completely rewired the car, so not much still applies. What has loyally got me stumped the past two day is getting the wiper motor to park, or self return. Once switching off. I have located the hi and low speed pins to the wiper motor, I was hoping the ae86 motor had an internal park switch, but it doesn't. It only has two trigger (signal) wires that go back to the original switch. Which then completes the circuit only you turn the switch off. Great for someone running a standard dash, and the ability to run an original switch.. But I was looking to run a simple on/off/on switch for my wipers. And currently with this motor. They won't park.. My question, as ke70 had the wiper switch conventionally on the steering collumn, not on the dash, do the fit an ae86 firewall, and do they have an internal park switch?? Any help is much appreciated lads.
  3. Thats bloody crazy. Id much rather be in a birdcage than an old alloy - one door bar, no carlos bar, no roof cross cage. Ive had my fair share of big hits, let me tell you, its not hard to jump out of the small gap you have once you have to. Ive seen people break pelvis' from in sufficient door bars bending or just missing tree stumps, people have to be cut from cars because of no carlos bar to stop the roof coming towards them. The pros of having a solid cage far out weigh the cons of having one. Interestingly, where was this drowning? it hasn't happened in recent times, atleast in AUS. The ripple effect from cams having a hernia over it would be felt right down to you and me.
  4. For the lazy people like me that can't read back, unless noted before - you buying a kit cage or making it yourself?
