yeh i was thinking twin carbs would be a pain in the ass to get tuned right but another option id go for is bike carbys from a r1. what muffler you got on it? they sound sick with just straight pipes not that loud too haha

nice man keen to see this thing with a weber on it, ive got one too and considering doing the weber or twin solex carbs. also when you get the exhaust on post up a video so i can hear what it sounds like!

i polished my jelly beans, came out alright for 20 minutes a wheel haha put them up against the car and i reckon they suit it! today after school i started to sand down the only rust bit in the rear guard thought it was gonna be worse than it was i then rust treated it i have bogged it but forgot to get a picture. started to sand down this door as it has left over pinstripe glue and all little chips, it is ready to paint tommorow so hopefully the weather is good for that. forgot to get a picture of it sanded.

today i got some 14x7 jelly beans, so I'm going to polish them up then get tyres fitted to them soon. also fitted my steering wheel and boss kit, don't know wheather i like it or not but i might save for a leather wheel. pic soon

the other week i sold the logchamps as I'm i needed to pay some people back bought some wheels from u pullit with new tyres for 140 just been cleaning it up lately. got no money at the moment haha anyone know how to get that old glue off of the pinstripes? gave it a polish, came up alright but could be better. gave the wheels a coat of black made a gear knob out of a bmx peg and it actually feels so good to shift! i put on a smaller muffler from an exhaust i had lying around and put a tip on it. i need to get that high temperature paint so it doesnt burn i also got a rear louvre for $20 bucks! granpa spec! i went to u pullit today to get some interior pieces and when i was paying for my stuff the bloke said if i wanted the steering wheel that was just sitting next to the window, i kindly accepted and got myself a free wooden steering wheel! the clear coat has come off a little and a its bit ruff and i don't know whether to sand it back and varnish then clear coat it then give the center a coat of black instead of the chrome. this is what it currently looks like this is what i was thinking of doing or something like this?

yeah Ive taken the hang-ring off cause it looked out of place and gay. never gonna get rid of the fender mirrors cause their cool and hardly anyone one have them! front lip is just their to hide a rusty dent in the scuttle panel and it was free so I'm not complaining. not too much plans for it at the moment man, just want to make it really clean and reliable. i love clean engine bays so i want thinking of ditching the stock carby and put some r1 carbys or twin solex carbys to make the bay less busy! i have heard of 1jz's in coronas, especially over in india i think! how does it fit, many modifications?

thanks man, raised the rear a bit today as i hate bottoming out when i have a full car, so got some mx73 springs so they are a bit stiffer too!

yeh shit lucky as! will start to save up a bit of spare cash and if one pops up cheap i might grab it! well i cut half a coil in the front and sits perfect now but i need to get some better spring rates cause its so bouncy haha only picture i have at the moment i love my schools carpark, there will be another 3 70's there in the next few months haha

yeh but what car and how low where you? i guess if i get defected that i would easily get through cause its pretty clean, might just need a few bushes under the car!

haha would love straight pipes but don't want to get defected again! just sick of the diesel sound of the 2s-c. might save for a full exhaust! thinking about lowering the front some more, anyone had experience with these and what stiffer springs i could use in the front, i heard front vt springs fit! or should i just cut another half a coil off.

got bored at school last week so i went to metal fab and made a tow hook/jdm hang ring not the best circle but it was free, don't know whether to put it on the rear tow hook cause it might attract too much attention from the piggy's? i need spacers on the rear ASAP! anyone used 25mm bolt on's before and they any good/safe to use? can anyone recommend a muffler that will make it a bit louder? don't really want to get a cannon cheers

got defected for too loud, exhaust sticking out of the bumper too far? too low, geometry out of wack? too much offset and wheels sticking out of guards. didnt have the money or time to get it off defect cause i would have to change the diff as it was locked and all little shit haha sold it to the old owners mate which was alright

hey guys, my ae71 got defected the other week and couldn't be bothered going over the pits as i knew it wasn't gonna pass. so i needed a new car ASAP for work and school and looked everywhere for a decent car for cheap and finally i spot this tidy Toyota corona with a for sale sign on the windscreen out the front of a mechanics. first thing i did was ask for the owner and we had a long chat about the car and its history, long story short he wanted $800 for it and i snapped it up! picked it up the next day with a fresh 3 months rego and was loving life. first thing i noticed was the brake pedal very spongy so i had a look and there seemed to be a small leak in the rear brake cylinders. so i topped the brake master up and bleed the brakes then ordered new cylinders. engine: 2sc 4cyl kms: 226000kms trans: 5spd manual (fair good condition for a borg warner) diff: reconditioned borg warner heres a pic of when i got it home: second day i had it cut the springs and was looking gangster then thought i needed big wheels - 16x8 +-0 steelies got the wrong tyres fitted - looked like a drag car so i sold them front fitment on on steelies then i wanted to go low (i get a kick out of scraping everywhere) so i bought 14x6.5 0 offset longchamps! got new tyres for them and looked sweet then i bought roof racks and Mazda 323 fender mirrors! looked baller and chicks become niagara falls over it also have got a full sony sound system with 12" sub and all the good stuff.

the yellow rolla is my mate ryan, don't think he's on here but its gonna be really overrated soon cause hes cut out every bit of rust and welded in new metal and hopefully a full respray! bigger wheels n shit. was it really loud?

hey guys, i just acquired a st141 corona the other week, lowered it and bought 16x8 -0 steelies and they stick out of the guards a little, just wonder what upgrades i could do to get some camber to bring them in without flaring them lots? any LCA's bolt in or can i use s13 camber tops with my stock struts? any information is appreciated cheers!

also what paint did you use, acrylic or enamel? went to the paint shop today and they recommend enamel for rolling but doesn't enamel take a while to dry? which will result in having to do like 1 or 2 coats a day? cheers
