  3. Gday guys, i own ke30 with a sr20. It has come to the point where i need to mount the front mount intercooler and i would like to see how other guys on this forum have done it. Pictures would be much appreciated. When i say mounted i don't actually mean mounting it but rather ie did u cut the front apron or the grill and what holes did you cut out for the piping. Many thanks in advance
  4. hey mate, the best way would be to get in touch with hopper stoppers in melb, just look them up on google and buy there kit, there is alot less stuffing around. i need to get disk machined and need custom brackets made up for the calipers and it wasnt cheap at all.

  7. hey guys i wouldnt wanna run more the say 6 psi. i can rid of the motor no stress as they are in high demand, i was just lucky that i got it so cheap, but I'm curious what sort of power i would be getting out of it, since it already has 150 kw. and the only reason i went down the de+t route was because of how cheap i was able to pick the motor up.
  8. gday guys, I'm about to put my motor back into my ke30 after having it sprayed and recently found that ive got somewhat of a rare s15 na motor called an autech which produces 150kw. i have already had the oil and water lines made up and tpped into the block. I got a custom manifold and all the works bigger injectors and everything else to go with a turbo conversion. However this particular motor has 11.8:1 comp. A few places tell me don't bother where as ricol performance is telling me that it should not be a problem to run 10psi which i did not plan on runnning more then that anyway. They said with a very safe tune and alot of fuel it should be fine. I would like your opinon and although its a nissan motor it is in a ke30 lol cheers guys

  11. gday guys, i thought id share some photos of getting my car back from the painters. Ive put some of the braking parts back on and the engine will be going back in this weekend. Ive got a s15 sr20de+t. Commodore brakes and commodore diff with mini spool. Ive changed the fuel lines and changed all of the brake lines. The interior will also going back in this weekend. when the engine is put back in this weekend i will post more pics. edit: gday ive removed some photos of my car and added some of the engine in and my boot lining 95% done and excuse the dirty boot everything gets stuck in the boot carpet. hope you like hope u like..
  12. gday mate, first of mate great work on the ke20. Ive just about finishing my ke30 back together after paint and motor is going in this week. I was intriguted about the power rating of the s15 sr20 as thats the motor that i have bough. Its been turboed. and also someone said the comp was 11.1 . i knew it was high but i didnt realise it was that high. once again great work on ur car mate
  13. hey guys, ive got a ke30 with an sr20 in it. Its come to that part where the interior is getting redone. Ive done the door triming because lets face it its really easy, some foam and material and ur done. I also done the parcel tray and the boot and reagards to the seats ive got aftermarket bucket seats so that leaves me with the roof lining. I would like to know has anyone done this themselves and if so how do i take it out without damaging it as my mum is extremely handy with a sewing machine and i well get her to make me one using the old one as a template. Ive noticed that there are rods in the roof ling to keep it tight. Any help would be appreciated as ive been quoted as much as 450 to get it done. thanks in advance
  14. Ive got standard corolla struts. I had custom brakcets made up to fit the commodore calipers, along with getting commodore disks machined with sleeves put in the fit corolla bearings. It cost a bit but hey thats cars for you. At the moment ive standard commo chasers on it just to roll the car around i don't know what size wheels I'm going to put on yet
  15. hey mate, I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it to you but i suggest that change your master cylinder for your brakes to a mitsi pajero master cylinder, i'll have a look at my one tomorrow. Ive got a ke30 with an sr20det, commodore brakes front and rear and a commodore diff. I suggest changing your fuel lines to bigger ones also. Any questions just ask Cheers
  16. hey guys, i went out today and bought a pajero master cylinder. My mate who also has a ke 30 had already done the upgrade and his fitted fine. When i got home i realised mine didn't fit. I have a 78 model and he has a 77 model. Which means that his booster has different bolt pattern to mine. What is a suitable master cylinder upgrade for my 78 model ke 30. It came out with the big chunky pbr master cylinder. Owe yeah i've also upgraded my brakes to commo all round. Any help would be great. I hear t a 22 should do but not sure. Cheers
  17. ive fitted vr calipers to a ke30, i'm not sure if vn and vr are the same, but if so let me know and i'll take pics of caliper brackets
  18. hey mate, just an idea what i did was get a series 3 rx7 master cyldinder because it actually bolts up directly to the two bolts in the engine bay next to the brake booster. I then modified the standard pedal box and assemblied the push rod assembly. But in answer to your question i would use the standard peal box and modify it. Have fun taking out, it was an absolute pain in the ass to pull it out.
  19. Does anyone reccommned anywhere to get cheap fittings. What I'm after is a reducer fitting, barbed, that goes from 3/8 to 5/16 for efi line thanks
  20. hey guys, ive just fitted my new 3/8 bundy tube line no dramas, however what my question is, should i change in the inlet and outlet fitting on the fuel tank so that they match the same size as my fuel lines, or will it be ok as ive got a surge tank and the fuel that goes from the motor will be going from the fuel tank. cheers thanks in advance
  21. hey guys, i've fitted my 3/8 bundy fuel lines no dramas, what my question is should i the inlet and outlet fittings on the fuel tank be made bigger or will be it be ok to leave as they are as they are going to my surge tank first and then from the surge the larger 3/8 fuel lines get connected. cheers thanks in advance

  23. hey ben dover, the master cylinder is out of a pajero part number JB1762. it will bolt up to ke30 boosters but not ke55.
  24. there is place called romeo engineering at prestons. Take him a vr commodore disk and some corolla bearings and he will make them fit. cheers
