  1. Very nice. Any reason for the single cam choice? And what is it going in? And my addition. A 4TGTE in a torture chamber.
  2. Some nice cars out there. The crappy photo's I took I've uploaded to my website if you want to look. Cliff Hansons 28 was out there again. A LOT more 86's this year crazy, dodgy haro's panda 86 looked immaculate. There was some interesting oddities out there like an old Publica ute (I'm in love) and a Will VS.
  3. I'll be going again this year. My Celica was there last year, not this year however as I haven't got the new manifold sorted yet. It's a good event if you like Toyota's. Lots to see, from the early V8 Crowns to late model GT4's, and oddities like the MegaCruiser (toyotas equivilant of a Hummer) and TTE IS200's. Plenty of interesting people to bump into, hopefully Bill Sherwood will make an appearance again, he's a man you could talk to for hours on end. I'll be taking poor quality pictures for those of you who don't make it :D
  4. Hey, my name is David. I've grown up with Japanese cars and bikes since I was born. My mum, dad and their friends have always been involved in car/motorbike racing so I figure I can at least partially blame them, and appreciate that having a father in the industry helps. I like driving. I like Japanese cars. I'm not model or make biased, I like the shapes, styling, handling characteristics and differences of many of them. I've already got myself a bit of a collection, but only four of my cars are on the road at the moment. I love collecting and restoring/modifying cars, and I'm bound to get more, I don't like it when its rego and insurance time. I live by myself in a two bedroom unit close-ish to the city, its location is good, but I only have 2 car spots which is rather annoying as I have to leave my other cars in my parents garage down the coast. I go to uni to do a bachelor of surveying. Being a student and liking cars leads to being very broke student. I've found a coffee and a smoke IS a substitute for a good breakfast. For other meals, I like noodles or sushi. I can use chopsticks, but not as a weapon. I don't like yumcha, but the trolley weilding waitresses are sometimes quite hot. Recently I've been taught to count time, though I have no musical talent. However I do like listening to music, of all types. From industrial Front Line Assembly, to Cake, to techno/trance, to Jpop/Jhiphop Fantasitic Plastic Machine / M-Flo. I can juggle 3 clubs (but i drop them a lot) or 3 balls with some extra tricks. I can't ride a unicycle nor do I have a clown suit. I like anime and manga. I liked Robotech when I was young, so atm I'm excited, as Macross Zero has just been released. I also buy too many japanese car magazines/videos, I like Option and Option2 magazine to keep up with the current Jap trends, but also love J's Tipo and Nostalgic Hero, the old japanese cars, especially in period streetracer or competition guise look fantastic and give me many wallet threatening ideas. For the future... Finishing my damn degree. Getting the Sprinter prepped for competition racing. Not to be at the pointy end of the field, it takes too much money for that, but just for the experience. More work on my other cars ( you can never *really* say finished) and the purchase of a couple more. Make my woeful webpage better. Thats enough for people to read....
  5. That reminds me of somthing I'd said while working on the Zed.
  6. Needs more late model front.
  7. OMG DRAMA!!#@!@! anyway, I remember seeing the car on the first page, as a feature car in Fast Fours.......many many many years ago.
