where abouts you located and where? need a 5speed for my ke38 4k

is there an upgrade to the sealed beam headlights on my KE38 wagon? wanna go to H4 units and upgrade the lighting kit.

Will get better pics up when i get a chance. The tailgate is almost rusted out. The bonnet needs touch ups the doors need a little work new carpets door cards and seats need refurbishing. Wanna do a full 4k rebuild.

Hey all, I'm from Toowoomba QLD and i just acquired a '79 KE38 wagon from a friend. and after seeing some pics of other peoples rides it has me hooked. i can't wait to fix it up. bit rough around the edges but not to bad. rust is the major problem(have a mig welder now so can fix that) will need a new tail gate and a few trim parts but all in all it's mostly there. looking at do a full 4k rebuild with either Solex or Weber carbs, cam upgrade and a few other mods love NA motors. such a fun car. my 4yr old loves it. doesn't like going in our 02 VX Berlina any more. any one who has info or parts please pm me.. can't wait to get this bad boy looking overrated.

Loving the thread. I'm from toowoomba as well. I have a ke38 wagon i just picked up. Really looking forward to doing it up. Seeing this really showed some promise for mine.
