considering lowering my ke11 at the front, obviously cutting the springs is an option but i am going to steer clear of that as its dodgey.. what setups are people running? brand of dampeners and springs..? i have had a bit of a look around there is not to much out there for ke10's most places only have listings from ke20 onwards.. are ke20 front struts different from ke11?? any help is greatly appreciated cheers henry :)

na na this is a different one nick. bamboo, auto toyoglide and 4k.. my mate saw it on ebay i went and sussed it out he gave me the cash and i bought it :) he didn;t even look at it haha just took my word that it was clean.. hes had it sitting for ages but has got it running and regod again ready for bay to birdwood. i just gave him my 12 inch whitewall stockies cause i have the 14's on the 11. nat-73KE20 owns my original bamboo ke20 i believe he is doing a ground up resto on it... :y:

the 14inch rims are off a celica from memory, can't remember what model i think it could be the mustang back one.. if your putting whitewalls on new tyers wait and drive on the tyers for a few months let all the natural oils wear out ... otherwise they when applied a few weeks later they crack and go all brown... the older the tyer the better they look for sure! thats my mates he works at city mazda! he just regoed it for the bay to birdwood, hes running my twin white walled 12's.. i love bamboo coloured 20's :) makes me miss my old one :y:

haha yea its red, sorry about pic quality crappy camera phone.. yea the exhuast does hang low... i had a suss of the mounts and its sitting on the hangers as it should be.. i think being a non standard muffler doesn't help... when i get my mig welder back from a mate ill look into.. maybe cut and re-weld the muffler back on as i think the outlet doesn't sit dead centre from the muffler.. so it just needs to be turned around till it lines up and sits higher :P ke10 is still here benzo... you want it? ill do you a special price hahah :lolcry: i want to list it on ebay but I'm not going to bother until i have some decent quality pics of the car and parts etc etc.. gotta get down to the shed to sort it out...

bit of an update... :P got hubbies back from polisher they look real good :) put on twin pin stripes!! :hmm: still not sure what i think of them yet :lolcry: and put on a nice crome pee shooter tip which i have been meaning to get around too since i bought the car... :y: i still have a few new bits and pieces to put on!

bit of an update... ke10 rolling shell is for sale!! ******************************************** the ke11 is in the shed under cover waiting for the 'bay to birdwood' and warmer weather to roll round in... hubbies off it are off being professionally polished up as well :P seen a few cool rollas recently as well makes me miss driving the 11 as a daily...

yea pretty keen to take the 11 in this!! :bash: ill try and keen up a mate with his clean ke20 to come!

not for me, its for a mate with Ke15 SL sprinter, (was given to him.. by his uncle :bash: and its fairly clean too ) his steering wheel has seen better dayys.. and hes hunting a nos / better condition one. hes not on the forums, but a fairly big rolla fan!

gotta be happy with that philbey!! now I'm jelous for two reasons.. 1. you have a wagon 2. its pushing more power.. haha we gotta get this cruise happening with scotty and the like when the nicer weather rolls around!

cheers scott, yea a few people have hit me up to buy it, had a couple of notes left on the windscreen as well... one middle aged guy that has all these classic fords came into work and was pretty much wanting me to name a price ahah he couldn't believe it was all original, he thought i had restored it.

rims are celica from memory... dunno which model.. drive it and enjoy it, but probably will stay in the shed for winter and come back out in the nicer weather!
