  1. Yep! Theres a few of us :D Probably 7 i know of in the area! Also saw another Olympic Gold Edition Ke70 (no. 16) with a black bonnet and boot crusing down Shepards Hill Road about 4:30pm today sometime! If your on here give us a yell! And a straight, clean purple Ke10 cruising through Blackwood yesterday afternoon around 6:30pm. Driven by a hot chick too!!
  2. I thought that one had closed down? Correct me if I'm wrong... Definately next time...by then the body and interior will be looking a lot better (in the process right now!) and possibly even the 4agze...ill let you know ;)
  3. Just on the left as you come into Mt Compass heading towards Victor Harbour...Apparently its a good one!!
  4. For interior plastics you most probably want to use vacuum forming. Its where the sheet of plastic is heated up then sucked over a mould to create a shape. Blow moulding is used for closed objects like bottles, contaniers etc. You should be able to pick up thermoplastics (heat mouldable) from a plastic supplier somewhere in you area...yellow pages! Polystyrene is probably your best bet (not the foam, sheet plastic) because its cheap and comes in a range of thicknesses and colours. You can use acrillic but it doesnt flow aswell as polystyrene over moulds... If your really keen, heres a link showing how to make your own vacuum former... http://www.instructables.com/id/ELPFLBN6A9EYJ3I2F0 Cheers Sam ;)
  5. i know some other guys that went for a cruise down to victor (via the back roads) then had a counter meal etc and came home...maybe an option? ;)
  6. Sooo true!! And my gf wonders why i always listen to cd's!!! Whats the music industry coming to? ;)
  7. Hey welcome to rollaclub :P Very tidy looking Ke70!! So straight and clean, especially the boot and engine bay! Wish mine was the same! ;) Pity about the rust in the door... Sam
  8. :P Dammit! I just went and saw Ghost Rider the other day! Oh well, i guess ive seen every other movie twice...
  9. Sounds good to me! :yak: I have a mate who owns a 94 Galant that he took to profix to get the oxygen sensor replaced. After a thourough look :) they decided it didnt have one so decided they would give a crack at putting one in, only to blow a fuse while welding! The car wouldnt start so they charged him around $200 for a new fuel pump (because that was the problem!!) only to find that it didnt start still!! Then they told him his alarm was stuffed and got the car towed to car toys for them to have a look at it! They found that it was only a blown fuse, replaced it and walla...it started! He didnt pay the bill, and will never go back to profix and neither will I!! :D
  10. Date sounds good. Cruise sounds good. (Has to include a hills run somewhere!). Triple feature sounds good, but no chick flicks please! :jamie: Anyway, look forward to it... Sam

  15. Yeah we did...I'm over this 4k! :D It started overheating just before keith. So we filled the radiator and kept going, only to stop every 80k's after that and fill it up again! I have bubbles so I'm thinking blown head gasket...again!! So this weekend, its all coming apart and I'm gonna suss it out, hopefully for good this time! (And ill fix that timing cover leak while I'm at it...) Anyway how was you trip back mick? Stay in Mt Gambier?

  22. Your a ledgend mate...you learn something new everyday :y: ...it makes sense, just didnt think of it!
  23. I havent readjusted the tappets...but ill go do it. I didnt touch the valves when it was off, and the guy i got it off rekoned it was running but i never saw it! Sam
  24. Hey guys, my name is sam, just wondered if anyone could help me out. I own a ke70 running a stock 4k, and recently had issues with water leaking into the combustion chambers due to corroded water jackets. So i ripped off the 4k head and bolted on a 3k-h head (i think - number 33)with a new head gasket, and extractors at the same time. Now when i try and start it, it sounds like theres no compression building up and the motors just freewheeling...i can't figure out where it would be loosing compression, and i know the timing and timing chain is fine...any ideas?
