  1. *Sees business opportunity* nothing else but just running around australia re-formatting hard drives for lazy people and flogging their porn on the fly lol
  2. Pfft format lol. *rings local computer shop, Jip: hello I need someone to re-format my computer Computer dude: what's the problem? Jip: virus Computer dude: I can explain it to you, it will only take 5 minutes Jip: just get the f*ck around here, don't you know I'm a qlder? Computer dude: ok but for me to fix the problem will cost: $45 call out fee, $22 fee to use our software to remove the virus, $35 to verify virus removal and $250 if the hard drive is screwed Jip: I won't tell you again, get here now Lol that was just a muck around idea of how it could happen (I'm not saying you would talk to the computer dude that way)
  3. "Nothing too special" you take that back, i ditched my AE82 sedan for an AE92 GZE but only because the sedan had too much rust, even standard as a plain pie these things still have make me smile and happy lol sounds silly. be proud, It's awesome BTW if you need any interior plastics PM me, I've got gear lying around (am i allowed to state this?) if not sorry Ironkin
  4. i thought that some are plug and play (CSi/SR5 upgrade - source the cluster from an AE95 SR5 wagon its identical to the SX/GTi cluster but without the extra gauges, it doesn't look as tacky, if you compare the two you will see what i mean) but replacing your SE spec gauges with the SX/GTi setup is a royal pain in the ass. You need to strip, swap and add a far bit of wiring so I'm told
  5. lol the "earlier morning wakeups are killing me but i look forwards to the 8:30 sunsets Heres some interesting information about Vitamin K: Vitamin K (for blood coagulation) is found in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and lettuce; Brassica vegetables such as kale, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts; wheat bran; organ meats; cereals; some fruits, such as avocado, kiwifruit and bananas; meats; cow milk and other dairy products; eggs; and other soy products. Two tablespoons of parsley contains 153% of the recommended daily amount of vitamin K maybe the extra sun in QLD allows green vegies produce a higher level of Vitamin K it will take a while to get used to the 1 hour jetlag
  6. Haha about the cvs (well its not funny in the draining your wallet way) yeah its looking good but it sits too low in the rear, only has half an inch of travel before it hits up under the gaurds. New kybs will fix that and Kings KTRL-52, not KTRL-52SL in the rear, hopefully that will sit the gaurds over the tyres not on them. Definately update or renew the 82 thread, I checked it out the other day and its a bit bare with only 5 pics, need to see more detail, more detaillllll !! Lol
  7. Here comes another one... update that is scored 3 17s off my uncle in-law for nothing, just had to try and find a forth one, so i rang BSA wheels (i tell you being deaf makes it hard to understand Chinese people) and they had one left over, which they insisted was brand new and proceeded to charge me $236 plus $25 freight. when i get it the next day i noticed that tyres have been mounted to it because the chrome top coat has flaked off everywhere and the 4/114.4 stud holes were covered in surface rust and same with the mounting face of the rim. not happy Jan, any way 4 rims for the price of 1 (tyres to come at cost price hehe) stripping the chrome (looks painful) painting matte black fast forward and one is done looks sweet i reckon the rim on my car before it was painted. (stripped to bare metal_still looked better than crappy chrome IMO) and so i get home from town/work at 7 and convince myself i must fit it up tonight (in not much light) and here it is (btw my wheels are too big with the current suspension in, theres only an inch of travel before scraping. That is all....
  8. I couldnt fight the urge to test out the superlow stance (actually super super low in the rear) and maybe its because of the shot struts but the drivers side rear sits an inch lower that the other side and i'm surprised that the superlows in the front only dropped it by maybe 2 inches max(considering the extra weight from the gze, but then its only a C52 g/b) (sorry about the blurriness but you can see the height drop, but i don't like the way its lower in the rear) I'll be slotting in some new KYBs, whiteline and bushes some time soon from Brad (cheaper prices including postage than the local "trade prices") That's it for now
  9. spent 2 days removing, cleaning, sandblasting and painting bits and pieces from the engine bay including the strut brace, ignitor brackets, carbon canister and the nuts , bolts and screws that belong to them, will get better as I do more.
  10. *stripped interior and cleaned dirt and mud from floods, hosed off the carpet, found possible wiring issues with the ecu (need help on that one - loco!) *stripped dash and disassembled tacho cluster and gave a clean (will spray the black gauge cover piece matte red soon) *will be reverting to 14" steelies after I realised the rear wheels are only held on by 3 threads of the wheel nuts as a result of the spacers to allow the tyres to clear the struts *Stripped passenger seat(drivers to follow) cleaned it up and wrapped up a wurth red throw over cover (used to protect customers cars when driven) but they match the paint and the planned colour coding, so they come up good when put back into the car. *Removed door cards and cleaned out dirt and crap *Added a bottle of Fortron "Lifter Free" to crankcase and allowing it to run through for a few thousand Ks to clean it out, then follow up with oil change (*waiting for someone to tell me this wasn't a good idea lol*) cleaning up the wheel arches, they were full of mud, cob webs and brake dust, will respray with deadener eventually before after Interior shots
  11. The oil cooler was left in the front but it isnt connected to the sump/filter. there was crap everywhere and the cooler was still full of oil 3 years after the conversion. gave it a clean up Then stupid me used the butt of a large screwdriver to tap the loose rust out from under the corners of the rear glass and then.....POP and then i had no rear glass, all over in under a second, which in a way was good because i could then see the full extent of the rust and after a brush up with the wire wheel on the drill this is what the damage is... so now i need a new boot and i think the easiest thing at the moment is just settle for a cheap local cs/csi boot with no rust and do whats neccesary to fit the SX spoiler (might even spray it black before putting it on)
  12. Small update... *Cleaned up residue and crap from where the sidestrips once resided, stained so much not even wax&grease remover can do its job properly. (the strips has faded pink over time) *Stripped front end, pulled front bar apart and cleaned it up.
  13. Yeah that's the thing with 20 year old cars, you know its going to cost a few pennies to get nice and crisp like a new car, yours is worth it though and good luck with the suspension upgrade, I still can't decide on lows or superlows in the SX, superlows were alright in the sedan but I have a feeling this one may drop too far to be practical, will just have to do a bit of trial and error fitment
  14. The sedans gone to car hell, it wasn't good/clean enough for heaven lol
  15. Hey mate, I always thought that a ke30 was an entire corolla, engine and body not just an engine!
  16. Thanks guys, the scoop gives a bit of a clue that it aint just a stocker(115hp atw at the moment-not quite stock but still a far bit to go), at first I thought the scoop was the original ae101 piece but it seems a bit flatter and this one is fiblreglass I don't plan on driving it much until I get it leaned out (and a new alternator as well) just got a quote of $110 for a replacement from imlachs in clayton, VIC
  17. I've upgraded from my AE82 4AC CS sedan P.O.S to this little beauty. Bought in Newcastle a few weeks ago, it was in the June floods. Didn't run and the problem was slightly unknown but came down to the alternator and/or starter motor. Water came up close to the stereo inside the car, which has caused a bit of surface rust, it will have rust protection carried out in the coming weeks to stop any more problems Vehicle: 1990 Series I Toyota Corolla AE93 SX Hatch. Engine: AW11 MR2 4agze, standard boost and tmic, Microtech LT8s ECU. Mods: 2" mandrel mild steel exhaust, rear performance muffler, 3"ish tip and pod filter at the moment. (Airbox bought off ebay is in the post) Driveline: standard SX 5 speed Brakes: standard series I front and rear disks. Suspension: Standard SX struts and King Springs superlows (the car isn't going anywhere at the moment, so it allows me to check for and fix any fouling) Wheels: 17x7 BSA mags and 205/40x17 silverstones on the front & 215/40x17 silverstones on the rear. Rear mags have been sprayed, fronts are in the process. Shifted to the shed: 15X6.5 6 spoke mags with 195/50x15 kingstars (generic Hankook BTW) on the front and Bridgestone Potenza G3s on the rear on the back. Exterior: Door strips removed, Red Rollaclub.com sticker to come) Interior: JVC headunit and 2 Lightning Audio 12''s to be installed one the car has been cleaned up Future changes include: KYB struts, CAI improvement, source some tinted and/or pinstriped Nova tail lights, 15-20% black window tint, front and rear splits, new carpet....the list goes on. ouchy rust the right side upper hatch sill the left side upper hatch sill left side rear corner and the spare wheel well cleaned up all the wheel arches, they were full of mud, cob webs and brake dust, will respray with deadener eventually yesterday i stripped the rear out totally and dealt with crap like this, the joys of a new car. in the process of rigging up the proper CAI, and a friend is going to replicate it in stainless steel and TIG it up for me... 15s along side the 17s i am currently stripping the chrome off and respraying matte black with a polished lip. Its pretty basic at the moment, funds and time shortages have stunted improvements, i haven't managed to do much at the moment with it because I'm attempting to source another alternator (found the problem) and do a rebuild on the old one. P.s I'm not too good at professional layout so just bare with it. Feedback and improvements appreciated.

Need someone with a ute etc with a 2 tonne tow rating who can lend a hand today, need a car moved from new hampton to taree area up the coast, will hire car trailor from kennards and require the driver to return the trailor (unless someone can provide both), I also will need a lift with the car, I know its a big ask but its the only way it can be done at the moment, please help out if you can, and let me know asap.thanks Forget the insurance stuff offered by car carriers, I just need it moved today. 19. Lol probably easiest to do a quick google search, its a telstra exclusive mobile phone x pda so to speak, with a flip out screen and full qwerty keyboard. Comes on a $30/month plan and $30/month phone repayment option/plan (MRO) includes unlimited sms, mms, email with own @hiptop.com.au email address, msn and yahoo messengers included, 1.3 megapixel camera-up to 2gb expandable memory, mp3 player, downloadable ($) programs and free unlimited internet to name a few features, they are popular in america and hard to get hold of in australia, but are good for their purpose.
  20. Hey, I bought a hiptop3 in sydney in july, they have their good points including having pms sent directly to your mobile and having google on the go, they tend to freeze up a bit and restarting them will refresh and boost your reception level if its not full. Unless you have something special these phones are not video compatible, nor can anything be downloaded, I could keep talking positive and negative, but if you want to know some extra info if you don't already know PM me. I do all my rollaclub and twincam gear from my HT3. There's a hidden snowboarding game as well. Enjoy
  21. Hey man, nah I had a better idea-put the dash in the back seat put the front seats in the boot run the exhaust between the front seats and chuck it in the dump! Sick of the piece of junk, not all corollas just mine
  22. Because the 92 setup was made to fit behind the dash and so all the vent cables will work without a drama, plus most 82 setup I've come across are pretty screwed-full of crap leaky radiator thing and seals/foams are gone. Anyway its a no pointer at the moment I'm tracking a very cheap ae86. So the ae82 can go die. Someone delete thanks
  23. I just need to know what part of the ae82 loom and 92 loom to use. Also with the ae92 aircon setup does it swap without many hassles?if anyone could help out with constructive information that would be superb! Thanks
  24. I'll try to take photos tomorrow if the rain pysses off, of both the engine bay plugs and the dash and any others I find. A found a few things are missing on my car so perhaps there shoukd be things connected to them. I will investigate. Thanks med
  25. Thanks mate. Any idea on the extra plugs under the dash behind the tacho etc?
