Pale green KE30 heading into the airport, rough but original!

Wow long time no update! Over the past 18months, the Tenner spent 6 months driving Captains' Flat to Canberra and back everyday, thats around 120kms a day! Never missed a beat! Rego ran out last May, and the car has had a semi-retirement/rest in the back yard, mainly due to the need for new rear shoes and w/cylinders,and new front shocks, and partly due to my slackness! New parts arn't too far away, and hopefully it will back on the road in the next month or 2!

Being a ke55, I'm guessing it a 3speed trimatic? If so you mite run into problems with the rear crossmember...Trimatics use a vacume line and throttle switch for kickdown as well...

Theres a bit of talk around, taht various state govts are looking at standardising how modified cars attain approval, Theres a good write up in the current Street machine, thats basically boils down that any mod would need approval, and that each mod would be approved seperatley And that some mods must be shown to comply via Madatory testing! My ke30 is blue, has black stockies with dress rims, and was traveling down limestone around that time... In Queanbo today, a grandma spec ke26 wagon, bamboo in colour, VERY clean!

Sounds good! Years ago ACT Rollaclub used to meet every month, but as people move on, get older etc etc, it becomes harder to meet. But I'm all for a meet up every month or so, just depends on what day/time works for most people. If we were to have a BBQ/meet at cotter or lake or whatever (or even hillclimb!), on say, first sunday of the month, how would something like that go down with people? Let me know what people think, but I think we should meet up on a regular basis....
